I feel like this is a good starter coding class, to get you started into a new career path. I had lots of fun in creating my project.
LOVED this project! This was so fun and so challenging. I found that I was stuck a lot less when it came to this project and got to make a lot of fun choices about the layout of my website. I cannot wait to share this with the people I know and potential employers. Thank you so much Matt and the tech team for being there and guiding me through this! So happy!!
I must say that I'm delighted to have been a partaker of this course because I was only a newbie into Web development. But now I can build a webpage with what I've got so far. The lectures were so explicit and concise. I'm truly grateful to have been one of the scholars of this program

The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! It provided me with new set of tools for starting designing my own website. Taking a coding class with Matt was definitely a great experience. I feel like I have strong foundation to start coding, and of course will not stop me to keep learning and progressing. So, if you want to learn coding and are waffling on a decision of which courses to attend, pick this one! Strongly recommend!

What a great way to start my coding journey! Easy to follow videos and lots of great information that we can take and apply in other workshops! Not to overwhelming at all and was fun to create the projects along the way!

More tips and tricks on how to use especially CSS and Javascript. I am now more confident in using class attributes, I can style the images on a web page and switch to a dark mode.

At a crossroad in my life, where I was desperate to find something relevant, that also stands for women empowerment and that I could dig my creative claws into - I couldnβt have found ShCodes at a better time. I donβt think Iβve done something so frustrating, but as highly rewarding recently than learning the basics of coding. Having Matt to talk through things with, and make lights of stressful situations was what got me though in the end and I canβt wait to keep practising to eventually become a front end developer, and learn other languages to potentially go further. The world of code seems limitless, with opportunity to enter any industry. My ultimate goal is to be able to build and host my own website from scratch, that will encourage collaboration and interaction. This course has given me the base to build towards that, in terms of the community and the learning material. Thank you SheCodes, I may be back to complete the rest of the packages!π«

I am completely from a different background coding is not my cup of tea and never thought that it would be but now I am enjoying this workshop. This course is amazing! It does a great job of breaking everything down into bite-size pieces so the concepts are easy to take in and practice along the way. Coming in having no experience with coding, the progress that I have made is a testament to how thorough and beginner-friendly these lessons truly are.
