SheCodes Basics was very helpful for someone like me who is totally new in the IT or coding industry. The instructions in each video by Matt were very clear and precise. The basic fundamentals that he taught us in each video were easy to follow and replicate in exercises. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested to learn more coding.

The Basics Add-On workshop included a good chunk of knowledge. It also allowed you to have more time to practice in a practical way. Being a product designer and a polymath, I wanted to better my understanding from a design impact and development standpoint. Upon doing research on how to complete this goal, I came across SheCodes and Iβm so glad I did! The SheCodes basics workshop was exactly what I was looking for and I learned so much!
Great workshop! I had some delays due to illness/moving/life in general, but I got it finished in the end (thanks to extensions!) and am very happy with the result. I love the style of teaching in these videos, and I'm excited to continue on to the next workshop when I have a little more time! I am looking forward to learning more about React and other in-demand skills.

Thereβs a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how itβs structured. Itβs helpful how each week is broken down into different lessons and challenges, that makes it easier to grasp the different languages you are learning. Itβs awesome to see the results of everything you have learned through your final project. Iβm excited to continue learning.

I enjoyed this course very much, for someone new to coding, this workshop was fairly easy to follow. Each task allowed me to practice and advance my coding skills; the instructor did an amazing job explaining the content in a short but comprehensive way. Specifically, creating the weather app for the final project was a really fun challenge.

I never considered coding, I've been in the healthcare field for 8 years. Since COVID it's been tough, and I was at a point where I wanted to do something, but I wasn't sure what. I came across an ad on Facebook for SheCodes. I thought "why not check it out?". I originally believed it was all about math, but was I wrong. After the introduction session, I signed up right away with SheCodes Basics, just to get my foot in the door and see what it was all about. Matt made it easy to follow along with the videos and the fact that even though after you submit you are given the solution, there's no one way to solve it. Knowing this, it made it all the better to not feel as if there's only ONE right way to do something. I've genuinely enjoyed myself so far and considering going back to school to turn this into a possible career for myself!
I enjoyed doing the course, however, I didn't learn much. Before this course, I followed another one which was free and lasted one week. It was just a promotional course by a coding Bootcamp to show what kind of things they did in the school. I learned much more that week (and I haven't even finished it) than doing this structured and paid course. Many fundamental aspects are not explained, while some simple things are repeated multiple times. Moreover, the exercises weren't really challenging. I guess it's an okay start if you have zero experience, but the price is still too high for what they teach you. Nonetheless, I have to say that when I asked a question on the chat they answered very rapidly, so great work in that sense.
This course is amazing! I never imagined being Cuban that I would be able to study this career. Thanks to SheCodes and this course I have the doors open to continue learning and developing as a Web Developer. I highly recommend it and many thanks to Matt Delac for being such a good instructor.

This workshop was a great step-by-step guide on beginner coding! I feel like I have learnt so much in less than 3 weeks - it's incredible. Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. When I started my coding journey six months ago, I knew close to nothing about this technical side of the product. Today I can honestly say I feel much more confident about my knowledge and ability to create and get my ideas running. Definitely will go further down this coding world!
Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed β the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!
I am very glad to have experienced React with the help of the SheCodes team! and oh boy, it was challenging but it was fun! Quite excited now, to start building more apps and refer back to these lessons when I need to! Thank you again Matt and the SheCodes team!

SheCodes really helped me with learning how to code. The instructor did a good job implementing everything for a beginner's journey for HTML, CSS and Javascript. You will get discouraged, but luckily SheCodes has a great team to get you through. From the videos, to the Slack chatroom, to the customer service. I'm very confident and I'm ready for the other workshops.
Believe it or not, I was skeptical (at first). I did not envision this introductory coding workshop to be THIS fun! I really enjoyed it from beginning to end! 10/10! π Not only did they reinforce what were taught during the lessons, the weekly challenges and final project allowed for creativity, and actually motivated me to enjoy the coding experience even more! Slack was amazing as well! As someone with limited coding skills, these hands-on lessons gave me the confidence, now, coding in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and not scare me away! I am so relieved I have made it this far with this new found interest for coding. This workshop definitely challenged me and at times, I was not sure if I would be able to tough it out and push through. I knew nothing about React, but I learned a lot from this. I went through the videos and built my site as we went. Then, I tried altering the source code from Matt and building it. I got awesome results and learned a ton both ways. I'd recommend building the app multiple times with different methods for the best results!
"She Codes" are the BEST, as they give an opportunity for development even to a mother with three children!!!!! You can stydy, watch the video at a time convenient for you and watch it as many times as you need to understand. I am grateful for this opportunity!!!
With no background knowledge of coding, I'm happy with how far I've come within these past 3 weeks. I now have basic knowledge about coding and can build a single-page website if need be all thanks to the Delac Foundation. I'm grateful to the Delac Foundation for this opportunity to learn to code.
