I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to gain knowledge of responsiveness on different devices, especially using Bootstrap, which seems to be a skill currently in high demand. It's a great opportunity to make your portfolio while you're learning, then you can use it as soon as you're done with your learning process to apply for jobs. Great job SheCodes!

SheCodes Basics was a good introduction to the world of coding. I appreciated all the challenges along the way. Being able to watch tutorials and then put those ideas into action really helped me learn. The projects and homework were my favorite because I felt like those allowed me to create and problem solve independently. Great course so far - looking forward to what is next.

I think this is a big improvement in my skills. I learned to read and write code and understand my own and others' mistakes in the topics studied. Just a few months ago, this was not possible! Working on this project was so much fun ! I notice that having a little bit of experience helps :) If a few months ago I would be really concerned whenever a bug comes up or I get stuck , now I know that most bugs have a solution or a reason, it's just the mind which needs a break. Leaving the project for a while only to return to it with fresh concertation power works like magic for me. Happy coding to all!

This course was amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to code, step by step. I love the Matt features in the course videos, making the learning fun. However above all, the course is well structured so it is easy to get inspired and implement the techniques. All in all, I expended a great time during this course.

SheCodes lessons are easy to follow and understand even for someone who have never coded before! Thank you, I learned alot!

I loved this workshop, I was able to learn so much about the job market. I wasn't feeling too confident about looking for a job before taking this workshop but now I feel way more confident!

React was certainly more challenging but in a good way. You get to see the difference between each workshop. React is more complex but Matt guides you and explains every single step for the projects. You get to learn and understand the each step for the components and every code. Also, the slack channel also helps you understand and add any new code you like to add to your project.

This program is easy to follow and the instruction is great! Even during the more difficult courses, Matt's explanations and examples make the information far less intimidating. I also like that we are doing real-life applications of the programs/languages during the courses. The programming cheat sheets, color gradients, etc., were an unexpected find but are super helpful and easy to navigate. Coding was something I always wanted to do and thought I could learn on my own, but as a mother of two young children, a workshop such as this is exactly what I needed to help me stay accountable, organized, and motivated to become certified as a Front-End Developer.

I really enjoyed the workshops. I would love to learn everything about Java with SheCodes!

In these three weeks I learned a lot. I totally recommend it!

Studing React were my favourite lessons. I hope to work with it in future.

I had such a good time learning how to code, thank you SheCodes team so much.❤️ The course materials were easy and fun to follow. Can't wait for the next workshop to start.

When I first joined this 3 week course I didn't know what to expect whatsoever, however after the first week of the classes I understood that this is what I love to do and how much potential I could have completing it. I found it very useful that I could push back the deadlines for the homework as I had university deadlines due too. Everything that Matt explained during the videos was clear and concise and very understandable.

Learning to code with SheCodes is so much fun! The tutorials are so complete and helpful! I believe it is the best source for beginners as they are really easy to understand.

It's a great workshop which teaches you how to build app on React in an easy way!

Outstanding workshop that guides you through the steps and procedures to take once you finish your coding training process. Topics such as how to build a professional portfolio, resume and Linkedin profile; how to identify and apply for jobs, how to network successfully or how to stay active programming, are addressed throughout this workshop. A valuable behind-the-scenes guide for anyone who wants to enter or advance in the world of technology.

SheCodes Basics was a great intro to learning how to code! I am a registered nurse looking to transition into tech, so I have absolutely no background in or knowledge of coding. This was such a fun course and really boosted my confidence in myself that I can learn how to code! I loved exercising my creative muscles and building my skin care website! Excited to learn more!

Hands on projects make it easy to learn!

I would say that the "she codes" workshop was terrific. I loved the workshop environment, the teaching method, and the exercises. I highly recommend "she codes" to everyone I know who has a passion to learn to code.

I was nervous when I started the course and it was a bit daunting at first as I had no idea at all how to code before this. By the end of the course, I felt a lot more confident with what I was doing and enjoyed making my final project. Would love to go on and try the next courses when I have time in my crazy schedule

Loving SheCodes Workshops so far, the bite size lessons can fit anywhere into your schedule. The info is repeated in small doses so you have the chance to absorb and use the coding you are learning multiple times. Really makes it stick! 🧠

A very immersive and informative experience where you truly learn the basics of coding and begin to gain new skills and become proficient at new coding languages. This workshop has been most helpful in learning the basics of coding. I love there are bite-sized lessons, challenges, and homework so we can integrate the material we learn. It doesn't take too long to complete and the information needed is all within the workshop.

I kept seeing people post about the SheCodes workshops anytime I looked up coding workshops. I am so glad I decided to join the SheCodes community. Courses are extremely beginner-friendly. Lessons are taught thoroughly and has adequate amount of practices and opportunity where you'll have to think outside the box. If additional assistance is required, Matt and other students are available to reach out on Slack.

I had a lot of fun learning React and working on two different projects. Although it was challenging at times, I am so happy with all I have learned and what I was able to create using React.

Loved everything I learned in this course! I know so much more about API's and how to use a repository/how to host your code on a server. Additionally, I enjoyed the advanced coding on how to organize my code to different locations on a page, and use of containers.

A huge shoutout and thanks to the SheCodes team for making this experience less daunting and fun. I have learned so much these past few weeks and am excited to continue learning more about coding!

I loved how straight forward and interactive this workshop was! I'm impressed with the way Matt was able to break down each coding language in a very simplistic way. Very in depth course with a wide range of resources and support.

It was a labor-intensive course, but it is simply magnificent. Preparing a multi-page portfolio was a great incentive to remember and use everything that we studied in previous courses. This course gave me the opportunity to love programming even deeper and more desperately and gave me a clear understanding that this is what I love to do. Thank you for your hard work.

I have always thought of coding as a myth, until I came across SheCodes. Their platform made it easy for me to assimilate coding. This was one of my top priorities during pregnancy leave. Thank you for giving a platform for women/girls to learn Coding with ease.

Amiable start about responsive web design. You will learn a few new things like making our websites SEO friendly and how to use media query. It was fun.
