Basics Add-on workshop stretched me in ways I never anticipated and I guess that is what happens when you push yourself to try to learn something new. It blew my mind and I must say I was impressed by myself at some points, because I pushed myself through the intense moments of frustration and pressure. I gave the SheCodes Basics class 5 stars because I genuinely had such a great experience with it. Before starting, coding felt a bit intimidating, but the course made it feel approachable and actually fun. The lessons were explained in a very clear and easy-to-follow way, so I never felt completely lost or overwhelmed. One thing I especially loved was the structure of the course. The videos are short, focused, and straight to the point, which made it much easier for me to stay concentrated and absorb the information step by step. I also really liked that I could complete the lessons at my own pace and spread them out over different days depending on my schedule. That flexibility made learning feel much less stressful and more enjoyable. The hands-on exercises and challenges after each lesson helped me immediately practice what I had just learned, which made everything stick much better. It is very rewarding to see yourself actually build things instead of only watching theory. Overall, I would absolutely recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who wants to start learning coding in a beginner-friendly and motivating way.

I had zero knowledge coming into Python and I had to learn the basics on this programming language. I learned the different elements of class used within python and that creating functions help keep the code organized and easier to read but it is not always easy. The little exercises provided in the course helped me learn about variables and how to use them to store, retrieve, and calculate information. The course provides a wealth of information that I still need time to digest but is a worthwhile endeavor given some practice and tips from the instructor and peers.

This has been my favourite workshop so far. I really enjoyed learning the different techniques used to create responsive websites and how to ensure they display effectively across a range of screen sizes, from mobile devices to larger desktop displays. The workshop helped me further develop my CSS and web design skills while giving me a greater understanding of modern responsive design principles. I found it rewarding to see how small adjustments can significantly improve the user experience and accessibility of a website. I really enjoyed taking the Plus AI Graduation workshop at SheCodes.io! Creating an Artificial Intelligence assistant, giving it context, and building this page was a very interesting challenge. It was a great opportunity to explore new technologies and better understand the digital transformation that AI has already brought and will continue to bring in the future. For my project, I created a Christmas Message Generator, which can always come in handy! The project includes a form where users can give personal instructions and receive AI-generated content based on their input. I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the project, and the entire frontend, UI, and UX design were fully created by me.

The Responsive Add-on Graduation course was a great experience. I improved my responsive web design skills and learned how to create websites that work well on all devices. The lessons were practical, clear, and very helpful. I definitely feel more confident as a front-end developer now.

AI is leverage. But leverage on what? If you don't know anything, AI doesn't save you. It just helps you ship something broken, faster. That's the trap with vibe coding. Where I was coming from I'm not a beginner. I work alongside developers. I'm doing a Computer Science master's β non-consecutive, so I'm one-eyed. Not blind. Not sharp-sighted either. I can see the shape of things, not the detail. Why SheCodes worked It doesn't drop you in a rabbit hole. You're guided, step by step, to something finished. You use AI the whole way through. But Matt explains why each part of a website matters and how it fits together. And when you want to go deeper, he points you to the right resource β he has a huge library outside the course, all of it free. That's the part most courses get wrong.

Before starting this training I had very little knowledge of JavaScript and I have to say when finishing the final project I noticed how comfortable I feel with troubleshooting issues, finding what's not working and understanding where to look for issues. It's not ideal for everyone, if you rather rely on someone to help it might be challenging but if you like to figure things out on your own it's a wonderful way to learn!

This was a hard one, I even took a break for a few weeks, planning to quite, but I wanted this more than anything and I came right back and I would not have it any other way. I am glad it got hard so much that I wanted to quit because it taught me that it is okay to take a break as long as you don't quit.

Iβve just completed a Python Workshop and it was a very valuable experience to strengthen my understanding of core programming and data analysis concepts. One of the most interesting parts of the experience was realizing how Python can automate data processing and create powerful visual representations with relatively concise and efficient code.

Iβve worked closely with front-end engineers and have had some familiarity with the process but never fully understood the structure and design language behind it. SheCodes Basics helped bridge that gap for me in a clear, approachable way. The course gave me a much better understanding of how front-end development works and improved my ability to communicate and collaborate more effectively with engineering teams.
I started the Basics workshop nervous, anxious and wondering if I will make it but through Matt's simplified lessons, I slowly started to understand the content. I made it to the end, submitted my first project and all thanks to Matt, for being a good instructor and daily motivatorπ.
