Before Shecodes, I honestly didn't know where to start with coding. I was curious but also a bit scared , thinking it was too complicated. But from the first lesson, everything was explained in such a simple way and friendly way . It didn't feel like school - it felt like something I was actually excited to learn. As a beginner I found the content easy to follow, and I liked that it was in small chunks that I could repeat again and again. Seeing the lessons get ticked off as complete was very satisfying! It was exciting the end the course being able to build my own webpage.

SheCodes Basics was the perfect follow-up to my first coding program. It helped me solidify my front-end skills while introducing me to new concepts in a fun, practical way. Taking the SheCodes Python Basics course was a great experience! I absolutely loved doing the SheCodes course! Iβll admit, juggling the deadlines with everyday life was a bit of a challenge, but it was totally worth it. Iβve done IT in school and a few short courses, but never finished my degree β this course, however, was the perfect mix of fun, informative, and easy to follow. The SheCodes website is super user-friendly, and Matt has a great way of keeping your attention and making each lesson enjoyable to learn.

I think it was pretty easy to follow, although I would've liked more thorough explanations on how and why things are like they, but I understand this is a basics bootcamp so it might be just that. I also liked the simplicity of the projects that encompassed everything we learned.

Just wrapped up the Basics Add-On workshop in less than 24 hours! It builds on concepts taught in the original Basics course, diving deeper into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with more advanced techniques, allowing you to achieve the proper aesthetics and effects that you would like to implement into your code.

This workshop gave a solid overview of what advanced JavaScript can do. Building a world clock was a practical way to explore useful features and the examples of more complex interactions were clear and easy to follow. A good next step for anyone looking to go beyond the basics.
Challenging but overall learning a ton.
Learning React was a rollercoaster but a valuable one. I managed to confuse myself multiple times but referring back to Matt's videos always helped. Real sense of achievement here and I think with more practice, React could be a game changer!
