I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. The positive point of this course was that it was divided into short sessions. There were also very good challenges that helped to consolidate the content in my mind. Thanks, Matt! Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn React. It was by far the most challenging out of all the workshops, but I feel it was a valuable skill to gain. The lessons from Matt were well-guided and I was able to follow them along the way. After starting with SheCodes Basic 13 months ago, I feel I have come a long way and now more confident in applying my newly gained front-end skills to my job.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.
This portion of the SheCodes program was instrumental to my knowledge as a coder. Being able to explain the tips and tricks of creating responsive applications in such a concise way was exactly what I needed! Thank you SheCodes!!

This was a great starting point for me to discover if I could "code". I loved the way the lessons built on from one another in a logical sequence allowing me to build my knowledge in a way that wasn't overwhelming which kept me engaged & eager to move on to the next topic.

This has been my favourite course so far. I have found it so much fun and educational to make apps and websites responsive and mobile-friendly. I'm now looking forward to going back through my past projects and applying the new skills I have learnt from this responsive course.
I felt nervous to start this at first, but after, I fall in love with coding. I felt like I was able to create an application that could make a huge difference in our everyday life. I will continue to learn more about the different types of language in coding, and I hope to make my goal come true. This was, in fact, an amazing experience for me.

This workshop has been really eye-opening. I wanted to try coding, but I didn't want to have to make a huge commitment, only to decide that I didn't enjoy it. Thank you for this oportunity of leaning new technologies and techniques! React in fact is complex in content but has such simple lines of code that sometimes it seems easier than plain JS. It sure is challenging and there is a feeling that this is just the begging of the journey and that there is always more to learn, practice and consolidate.
The pace of the workshop was great. Each week built off the previous in a manageable and never overwhelming way.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus! I enjoyed working hard on the challenges and finishing the project creating a weather app practicing many new things. In this workshop I have also learned how to communicate with other developers, the tools that exist and how to search for my own resources when I am stuck in one of the tasks. Now I'm encouraged and inspired to study coding more than before. Can't wait to continue my studies with the next workshops.
It was one of the best courses I have ever attended π». The training was short and full of content.
Very challenging, but it was also quite fun! Seriously, I feel quite lost in the middle of the course because the javascript code was quite hard to understand π But the slack, github documentation and the course video were my hero. It was really helping me to understand the code bit by bit. If I don't understand the code yet, I just need to replay the video or read the code documentation. And so glad π€ that SheCodes have extension feature. I got quite sick for almost two weeks and need to be hospitalised because my condition didn't not get any better at home. I was still learning in week 4 at that time and need to request an extension for my homework. So I can focus at my recuperation, the extension feature was really a big help.
I really enjoyed building the web page π€© It was very motivational and inspiring. I look forward to continue with React πβ

It was a really interesting course and I learnt a lot. Some moments were frustrating, but I managed to solve the problems.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!

Matt is a natural teacher. He uses the format of "I do, we do, you do" to give gentle practice time. The learning felt engaging and natural, more like solving a puzzle or playing a game than what I've come to expect from online courses. Between the well-designed lessons, ample opportunities to practice, and the community of support in the Slack channel, it's really easy to see why SheCodes has such a high completion rate.

This is one of the best decision I ever made. I was already studying coding for a bit, and gets so frustrated with how unnecessarily complicated it is. Matt, makes the learning so much fun and easy. He is really a gifted teacher. What i struggle to understand sifting through blogs and youtube videos, Matt clear it up in less than 10min. His passion and excitement is very contagious. I really enjoyed my learning experience, and looking forward for the next workshop. π

This workshops took me slightly longer to complete due to work obligations, but I couldn't be happier with my experience throughout SheCodes Basics. I have an overall understanding of coding now, and can progress into that field of work if I so wish in the future.
The course is full of useful information and provides a deep dive into the world of app building. The more I practised, the clearer it became. I really loved the fact that we had full-on support on Slack. Personally, I have enjoyed the lessons and the challenges sections. It's a well-designed course.

Itβs happened and I finally finished my all workshops with SheCodes! I am happy and the same time sad, because it was interesting to learn and create something new, and difficult. To be honest, I had hard time when my challenges did not work or didnβt give me right result, however sheCodes Team helped me out which Iβm very grateful! I think this class was interesting. I didn't know how much I could really learn in 3 weeks. I did wish that there were more instructions on certain things but overall, I'm very glad I took this class and can't wait to get into the world of tech more!

Just take the leap and sign up for SheCodes, I had been wanting to learn coding for awhile till a co-worker at my customer service job mentioned she was taking classes with Shecodes. I looked into it and made the commitment to learn to code. I have finished Shecodes basic and plus, with more lessons to come. Shecodes makes it easy to start learning and whenever I've needed help the shecodes team and the whole shecodes community on Slack have come through for me.
SheCodes is helping me learn fron-end programming step by step with no pressure. It is fun and the team is ready to answer your questions whenever you have any. If you want to learn html, css and javaScript, I think this is a good way in.
