This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant π€© Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
This basic web development course was so useful and fun. I am very excited because coding is very interesting, especially when I see the result of the codes as a colorful page. Thank you, SheCodes for this valuable opportunity.
Highly recommended! I doubted myself for coding at first, but when I joined the free coding workshop and immediately it has opened my mind to try. I am taking the basic class and now I'm proud of myself because I can. If I can, you definitely can!

I've been introduced to HTML and CSS before I started the workshop but I really enjoyed the lessons! They're short but they have everything you need to know about the basics of building a website. For the Javascript part, I also enjoyed it a lot! A lil bit complex at the beginning, but thanks to Matt for explaining everything so well. So excited to continue learning :))
Brilliant teaching, would never have considered coding as a hobby prior to undertaking this class. It was something I never understood when I was younger in school but Matt explained it in a way that I was able to both understand the concepts but also practice them myself.
SheCodes basic add on was an amazing workshop.. it definitely has taught me more tips and tools to make our websites look more fun and advanced. I'm so glad I decided to take this workshop. Matt did a great job explaining things so clear and perfectly!!

This course really tested my analytical abilities. It took me quite a while to catch on during the Week 1 activities, and I was significantly frustrated by how slow I was at completing the tasks. Week 2 was much more enjoyable as I became more familiar with the process and with the coding languages. The final project was a lot of fun, as well as a lot of back-and-forth of tweaking things to get them to where I was satisfied with the end result. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in understanding how webpages are constructed, and the creative possibilities this training can open up for you.

It was really interesting for me to practice and learn with She codes. I enjoyed doing the exercises successfully. Sometimes I faced challenges in doing the exercises, but by looking again at the lessons related to the exercises, I was able to pass the challenges successfully. The classes were clear to follow and wonderfully structured for beginners. SheCodes is built in a way where motivation is never once lost and the assignments only push one to challenge themselves with what is taught. I can't believe how much one can learn in three weeks!! I'm excited to continue learning and would recommend anyone with the slightest interest in coding to start here! :)
This program has helped me to understand how to code and how to fix my code. The instructor speaks in a very calm manner and he explains everything in a thorough and real life type of way.
I've really enjoyed learning the basics of coding and feels great to be able to create a simple project at the end of it. The courses were well-explained, and I was able to handle the work load with a very busy schedule. Looking forward to the more advanced courses soon!
With more practice through these lessons, challenges, and projects, I am feeling much more confident and comfortable coding. When I first started with SheCodes, everything was completely foreign to me, I was learning a new language. At this point, although still a challenge, it feels more familiar as I learn and absorb all these new skills. I am excited to move on SheCodes Reactive.
The lessons are great and the perfect length. You get a lot of information without being overwhelmed.
Coming from a nontechnical background, Shecodes has been a great starting point for me. They have made learning code less intimating and easy to understand. They have also assisted with growing my portfolio with the projects and assignments we completed through out the workshop.
Super cool add on to the plus workshop! I really enjoyed working on the world clock application!
I heard about SheCodes from a friend and was debating on whether or not to give it a try. I'm glad that I did because I learned valuable, new information and I found Matt's way of teaching easy to understand! I would recommend this program to anyone who is afraid of taking that first step!

This was a great experience! I had so much fun learning how to code. The Basic workshop helped me to make my final decision. That I want to code in my career choice. The result of my project made me feel so proud of myself and motivated me to continue learning.

It was a good workshop, everything explained in an easy way.
Once again learned a ton in this new add on. Learned new JS library which saved me so much time when working with dates and times π a dozen line of code replaced with a simple function. Overall I cannot believe the level I am at and how much I've learnt. Very happy with the results and can't wait to continue my journey β€οΈ

I enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive workshops! I enjoyed the final project and it's something that I really needed in order to move forward in pursuing web development. It was fun building my portfolio and seeing my growth from when I first started to what I know now. If you're thinking about taking the Responsive workshops, 10/10 recommend especially if you're a blogger--lots of helpful content!

The end results for the projects make me feel accomplished. In just 2 weeks, I've finished 2 projects that I'm really proud of. I'm very excited to see what's in store for me for the rest of the workshops.
React took me longer than expected because I had another asthma relapse and was finally able to start my treatment, which meant a lot of traveling. Thankfully SheCodes has 3 forgiveness weeks where you can push back the course! This allowed me to finish REACT while being able to give myself time to recover! I loved that I was able to finish on my own time! SheCodes staff has been supportive every step of the way!
I have always been fascinated about coding , But either never had the time, thought it was impossible to learn at a short period or that it was time consuming. However to my greatest surprise when I heard about sheCodes from a tictoker, I enrolled immediately with the little money I had not knowing there was "Delac Foundation" which I applied and my application was approved currently on the waiting list. I have gone ahead to finish the sheCodes basics and I am happy to have finished my project. though it wasn't an easy task juggling work and been a single mum but thank-God I did not give up. I will always recommend sheCodes to everywoman I know. Thankyou matt for making coding easy.π€

The responsive workshop was fun. I really enjoyed learning how to improve my projects and build my portfolio.
I have really enjoyed the Basic path and can only recommend it. Prior to joining the bootcamp, I already had a little HTML/CSS knowledge but had never had the opportunity to really use it toward something concrete. I enjoyed learning about Javascript and I honestly can't wait to jump to SheCodes + and learn more about it. SheCodes has figured out the right mix of 1. guided lessons and 2. freedom to explore and work on your skills on your own. The final project was super cool!

I started SheCodes just to see if this was something I could see myself doing. I've been in a little of a rut in my career and wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go but already have a degree in graphic design. I decided that I have done some coding briefly and wanted to give it a shot again. SheCodes made it so fun and easy to pick it back up. And even with working full time I was still excited to try and find time to do all the work outside of my day job! I can't wait to keep learning with SheCodes and am excited to start the Plus curriculum!

I've never seen such training in my life. Not only am I enthusiastic about learning how to code, but I am also terrible at learning and memorizing them. It was unbelievable that I could stand watching the videos up to the end and follow the lessons without feeling tired. The time of each video is standard, and the way of training is lovely! I can only thank this group and their support for giving this chance to many of us using the lessons. Extra thanks to the team, who were always ready to help whenever I got stuck in coding.
