This add-on workshop was so useful, I really thought it would be impossible to build a project like this. Now I am so grateful for being learning so much and how to get real data to create and customize projects like a world-clock. This was amazing!

I started SheCodes basic because I wanted to experience 1) if I would enjoy coding, 2) if I could keep up, and 3) if I could understand the concepts from a beginner's POV. I am happy to say that making a button work has sparked a joy that I did not know could be possible. I enjoyed myself so much! I signed up to SheCodes with zero coding knowledge and now I enjoy coding so much! The lessons were detailed and structured, I am sure you won't get lost in it, and I could replay the instruction videos at anytime. The challenges and homeworks are also helpful, they are a tool to get a better understanding of the materials. A tip: don't skip watching the instruction videos, and look on the bottom page of each lessons - some great and valuable tips are often there.

Through SheCodes Basics, I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The lessons were beginner-friendly and the instructor Matt would take his time to explain each aspect in order for us to understand their importance. Now, I am able to see how the three languages can work harmoniously with one another to ensure a great user experience.

I enjoyed the lessons and there's a lot of knowledge I've acquired. It was not easy though, but the team was always available to answer any questions also we have Athena(AI). SheCodes is more of a community and it makes things easier to know that you have support from the SheCodes team and fellow students.

This is my first opportunity to learn how to code. SheCodes taught me the different languages of coding. I learned how to design a webpage with links and buttons, which was a lot of fun to learn. This course has givien me confidence because I've learned a computer language that not everybody knows. I definitely want to continue to learn more so that I have an opportunity of finding work in this field.
Learning to code was not something I would have ever thought would have interested me, until one time during Covid I tried a free weekly course to try and pass time with and ended up being hooked. After a that I knew that I wanted to pursue coding in a more serious note and see where this could take me. Following sometime from then I looked around for coding courses that I thought best suited my needs and would still be challenging whilst still being able to complete them. That was when I discovered SheCodes and decided to commit. Finishing the basics course has only further piqued my interest into my introduction to the world of coding. SheCodes have made learning fun and interactive, with help also close by with a friendly community.
I had a blast building my world clock and learned so much in such a short time.

This is my last SheCodes course, and probably the one I liked the most. I was a little puzzled during the study, but it was exciting to see the differences between React and pure JS, how simple changes make huge difference. I would definitely recommend React to anyone who enjoyed vanilla JS. My coding journey doesn't end with SheCodes, I'm happy it was a big part of my introduction into the coding world. This has been such an exciting and challenging journey!
SheCodes Plus was a well-paced course and the instructor explained all of the concepts in a non-intimidating way. Highly recommend to anyone who already knows the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS but want to be able to apply more functionality and customization to their projects.
She codes could be difficult at times, when the code is not working, but, this is the ugly part, that it doesn't compare to how amazing it could be.

As someone with no previous coding experience, SheCodes Basics was a bit challenging. However, the way Matt explained things, as well as the additional resources for help, enabled me to finish this workshop 😊
She Codes Plus is even more challenging and rewarding than the last course. Long distance learning can be complicated, but the lessons are carefully crafted and prepared, the objectives are clear and tutors are always ready to help you, so you feel supported and backed up on every step of the way.
This course was challenging, especially the JavaScript part and I will still need to practise to really get and understand it. But once you understand it, with those tools you can do anything. It was so much fun building the weather app and following the lessons. I have learned so much and had lots of fun doing it! Definitely worth it. I was really happy to see all my hard work pay off when my final project was done. There are so many ways to build your application that is hard to stop playing around!

I went into this with zero experience, but the course was well structured that it was so easy to understand. I really enjoyed it and I am surprised at how much I have learned and how much I can do by myself with just the basics course.
