This workshop tested my patience and limits in ways I didn't know I needed. Coding is all about learning and challenging yourself. As a result, I feel much stronger in my journey than I did before completing this course.

I really had a lot of fun these past three weeks, usually the learning process of things can be overwhelming but not with the way Matt taught these courses. Not gonna lie.. this one was hard. But of course it was worth it! It's really challenging and it is easy to give up but feels great if you keep pushing. Matt is really good with keeping you motivated and I think this workshop has so much value for future developers!

SheCodes basic was fun to learn.I love the bit-sized lessons and the fact that there were challenges at each lessons.It is a very quick way to get a basic knowledge in html ,css and javascript. Matt made it very easy to understand the lessons.I am really grateful i experienced the basics of coding and i'm excited go to the next step.

Before taking this course, I had no previous knowledge of anything, and now I feel like I am learning and able to follow up!
During this workshop, I acquired some advanced pure CSS skills to make my website responsive and user-friendly on all devices - mobiles, tablets, desktops etc. I included google maps, Spotify playlist, Youtube videos inside responsive grids, so that not only they provide adequate and convenient information for users, they also look and feel natural as built-ins inside the website.
Really enjoyed this course more than I anticipated. I feel that I learnt a lot within the space of two weeks. The longer I work on a project the more I enjoy it and find new ways to change things.
It really is amazing the things I've learned so far with the basics. This workshop gave me the foundations I needed to move to next level :) I enjoyed coding and learning more about CSS, HTML and JavaScript and had so much fun designing my first project.
I appreciate the Shecodes team which provided us with an excellent opportunity to participate in such great workshops. Although I was familiar with coding in the other aspects, it was a fascinating and joyful procedure and also it is very practical for beginners in coding. Moreover, I have been introduced to so much information and learned how I can seek appropriate methods to improve my coding skill. I truly experienced a challenging coding journey. The syllabus is so well-designed and the tasks are so well splitted into smaller pieces that the difficulty of the challenges turned out to be fun for me. Weeks 7 & 8 were like a story narrated part by part. I also love weather API by Shecodes which helped me to proceed with the project more easily.
SheCodes made coding super simple and Matt's explanation were really detailed.

Things are getting more complicated but learning with SheCodes really helps me to wrap my head around all those JavaScript functions, logic etc.! I love figuring out how to fix bugs and get everything to work how I want it to.
SheCodes basics was a great experience for a person like me who wasn't familiar with different coding approaches. Since I was a complete beginner, this course introduced me to a lot of new information and this was a great and satisfying experience. I've been working with HTML and CSS before without really understanding it. It was so much fun to learn more about this and build a Page from scratch!
This additional project was extremely beneficial to really hone in my skills. I feel as if I have a really good base knowledge of React and have been set up for success in future projects.
React is a bit challenging at a first glance. But when you get deeper it becomes so easy to solve complicated tasks, which would be a liitle puzzled if you solve them with pure JS. I would definitely recommend SheCodes Workshops. Matt as always explains everything in easy way. SheCodes team is always ready to help. And newly created helper Athena AI is awesome. Huge thanks for providing free workshops for women in developing countries. I'm happy to be a part of the coding world now and I'm going to go futher in it. And good luck to everyone!
I just finished the SheCodes Plus workshop and it was such a great experience. I learned so much from this course and I really love the way the lessons are laid out. They are clear and easy to follow and there is always support when you need it. I also love that there are weekly homework deadlines to try and meet, in order to help keep you accountable, but there is also a lot of flexibility if you need it (which, as a mom of a toddler, is essential!). The flexibility to be able to ask for extensions when you need them, to me, shows that SheCodes really takes into consideration the different lifestyles/schedules that each individual has. Before SheCodes, I had absolutely no knowledge of coding, but as soon I joined I felt very welcomed and instantly became a part of this community of amazing women around the world with shared dreams and ambitions of learning to code. Being a part of this supportive community, especially for a complete beginner like me, has given me a lot of confidence and inspiration to continue my coding journey.

Just a very brief introduction to the Frontend world. Even though is a basic course I feel like there was a lack of very important information and content. Also, I think there could have been more fun activities and not repetitive as the ones that were presented.
This add-on course provided some extra lessons, mainly for CSS, while helping build upon what was learned in the initial basics course. The project was fun and a good challenge and it brought together the information learned in the lessons.
This was my second SheCode workshop. Engaging and practical one as always. Expanded my CSS grid and transform skills while learning new JS functions. Highly recommended!

I think one of the most practical parts of the SheCodes courses is that you can go back and rewatch the previous videos as a great review, and to make sure your physical and or digital notes are fully fleshed out. I have other friends who did live classes online to learn coding, but the digital format with the slack help works better for my learning style.
I loved using the skills i've acquired to complete this world clock project! i really enjoyed learning about moment.js and using it to create a sleek and sophisticated world clock app.

I recently attended SheCodes Basic Workshop, and I have to say it was a great experience. The e-learning videos are very detailed and made the concepts easy to understand, even for someone with no prior coding experience like myself. The workshop was well-organized and covered a wide range of topics. One thing I particularly appreciated about the workshop was the hands-on approach. We were given ample time to practice what we learned, and feedback was provided. By the end of the workshop, I felt confident in my ability to write basic code and solve simple programming problems. Overall, I would highly recommend this basic coding workshop to anyone interested in learning how to code. It's an excellent starting point for beginners, and the skills you'll learn will be valuable in any field that requires computer literacy.
I thoroughly loved the shecode session, which helped me develop a stronger sense of self-belief. While I formerly believed that women and mediocre students weren't designed to learn programming, I now realize that anything you put your mind to can be accomplished.
It was very informative. I liked that, apart from the video, the essential information was also spelled out.
I highly enjoyed this level, which helped me create much more user-friendly interfaces. On top of that, having a personal portfolio as a result is great 💜!

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting their Web development journey! Matt explains the topic very clearly and you can always come back to any part of the video if you miss or forget something from previous lessons. It will be a lot of frustration when something doesn't work yout the way you wanted to, but a lot of joy as well once your code works. I'm looking forward to the next courses and even though I know it's not gonna be easy, I know, Matt will be able to explain it in a way that we all understand it. Happy coding!!
Much harder than the basic course, for someone who does not want to go into coding and only wants an overview, the basic course is enough in my opinion

Building a world clock app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in 2 days(!) was a great experience for me :) I extremely enjoyed learning new techniques and approaches to building apps while being creative with the user interface. So satisfied with the result!
The final project for this workshop was AMAZING! I felt more confident in my HTML, CSS and JS abilities and being able to connect everything with Github and launch the web app allowed me to understand how to build more applications on my own.
Firstly, I would like to give Mr Matt his flowers, he really made my learning journey less stressful. I started studying coding with SheCodes 3 weeks ago, and I have been very motivated especially by the curriculum. SheCodes really helped me realize how exciting and fun coding can be! I have gained skills so fast which was something I did not expect, improving this much in only 3 weeks! I loved the challenges between every lesson, it did get challenging but with determination and grit I managed to do it!. I am so happy that I joined SheCodes and very much eager to continue upskilling myself!
