I have loved completing the SheCodes Basic workshop! Being new to coding, Matt was able to teach the basics very well - It was easy to understand. Having the challenges, the weekly homework and the project really helped to apply the knowledge. I definitely recommend SheCodes for those looking to get into coding! Can't wait to complete the other workshops and seeing where this will take me in the future :)

I am absolutely in awe at what SheCodes has taught me during this workshop! The challenges after every lesson greatly assisted with my understanding of the concepts taught and once I completed the final project, I really felt a sense of accomplishment! I never thought that I would be able to code. I'm a health policy professional-turned-soon-to-be UX/UI designer and developer. I've really wanted a creative way to earn income from home. Coding seemed so intimidating, but in 3 weeks with SheCodes I've built my first website from scratch, have my very first project for a portfolio, and have earned my first certification!
Great class with a wide variety of topics taught in an engaging manner. It was a lot of fun gaining insights into the basics of coding. I'm excited to expand my knowledge in the future!

SheCodes workshop was my first contact with coding and I strongly recommend it! They use a simple language to teach, you have support 24/7 and with the Homeworks you are also able to apply what you have learned by your own. I will definitely enroll to a second workshop soon.
I would like to have more practical courses, especially in week 3
SheCodes gives the feeling that your journey in to IT goes in the wright direction. It gives the possibility to get new knowledge for the brighter future and understanding that even searching for mistakes can be fun.
At the beginning, React seemed to me very incomprehensible and complicated. But thanks to the step-by-step and clear explanations at the end of this course, I can be called a real fan of this.
I absolutely loved the SheCodes Responsive Course. Matt is an excellent teacher. Not only did I learn how to make a website more responsive, but I also learned how to make websites more SEO friendly. Cannot wait to move onto the React course.

Great workshop! I finished the three week class in less than a week because I was having fun solving the puzzles and learning something new. It was a bit addictive to be honest. π The pace of the class was perfect. Matt gave us enough information without going too slowly and the homework was challenging without being overwhelming.
Awesome workshop, it was fun and easy to learn and Matt's simple way to explain helps a lot on learning the basics of programming. I love the hands-on experience and the challenges. I really hope this workshops direct me into a new career opportunity because I figured out that I enjoy this field.

An amazing and intense 3 week course! I've absolutely loved how easy and structured SheCodes have made it. Matt is amazing at explaining everything in simple ways, and the community and help you receive is more than I imagined. Really pleased to have the Basics which will really help me in my job roles, and even as a side hobby. My appreciation for developers really began when I became a Product Manager working in health tech. It was then I realised how much goes into developing a product. As a Product Manager I had to ensure I told the "story" about how users need to be engaging with the product, but had little to no understanding of how the developers actually thought. This basics course with SheCodes has really given me an amazing insight into the developer/coding world. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it certainly has broken a lot of misconceptions that coders are introverts and quiet - The SheCodes community is amazing and I've met extroverts, ambiverts and all kind of personalities whilst learning. For those people who told me I shouldn't and couldn't do this, I DID it and I LOVED it! Thank you SheCodes!
I was so happy to see some new courses! I bought of course all of them because it's soo worth it! π After first project I have to admit, I love to design β€οΈ. I'm not so confident about this, because it's all about being creative. But the more projects you make, the more creative you become. So, I guess, I will continue to do this π.

It was an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience. During the workshop, I learned about responsive design tools that allow me to make a website user-friendly on any browsing device. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. The material was presented in a clear and engaging way, and the challenges and homework really helped me to solidify my understanding of the concepts. The instructors did an excellent job and I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I feel confident in my new knowledge and am excited to continue learning and expanding upon what I learned through this course.
The downside of there being a lot of resources on the Internet is that, if you're a total beginner (like me!), it can be very intimidating and overwhelming. SheCodes Basics is a great introductory course and I was able to grasp all taught concepts because the lessons are well structured and concise, and I might have found a new passion!
This workshop is excellent for absolute beginners like me! I immediately felt like continuing, let's see.... π

This class was a reminder of how much fun coding was to me because I used to code in high school.
I very much enjoyed working with Javascript and API. It was a bit more challenging this time, but I managed to create a functional weather app.

An excellent introduction to HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT with a well -structured lessons. I like the fact that Matt helps us to be independent. The language is simple and not complex .We also have supportive group in case you get confused along the line. It was very interesting!
This was a fun and flexible way to learn the basics.
The lesson is well-structured. I like the way that Matt showed us how to inspect the webpage to create independency in the learning process. The support of the team and peer-learning method are something you won't get from a free ride lesson. He explained in understandable language contrary to trainers who at times just want to sound smart and use sophisticated terms to impress, but the learners didn't understand or grasp the central point of the lesson
This add-on really helped me understand React on a more in depth level. This was my favorite project for sure!
Powerful tools and so many ways to build your application that is hard to stop playing around until you got it right how you want it!
So, I took this class while going through a whirlwind of transitions in my life and I had to extend a couple of deadlines but Matt and SheCodes made it so seamless to transition back into where I left off. It was stressful, but that good kind of stress. I learned so much! A truly wonderful class and I can't wait to learn more!

I am a health information manager student and I hope my expanded computing and coding knowledge will allow me to integrate coding with my profession when I finish my degree.
I had seen this program on Tic Tok and decided to try it out and see if coding would be for me. Honestly, I fell in love with it, Matt made everything so easy to follow and it was very easy to learn. Any questions I would have would actually be in the next video I would watch for each course. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone, any age.

I will first like to point out that I had ZERO experience in coding. When I think of what coding is, I use to think of it was the highest level of the pyramid and that I will never be able to understand it, yet so fascinated by it. So, I give it a chance. Not only that I understand it, but I also enjoyed it. It's hard to learn something that you're scare of on your own, with no physical help. But, SheCodes [Slack] team was very helpful, encouraging and patient with me. I would love to go beyond the Basic course, hence why I choose to continue with SheCode Plus. Thank you everyone for being such a great team to us!. I'm still nervous, but I highly believe that Matt and his team will pull me through my journey.

I enjoyed coding the weather app, it was a great challenge and I learned a lot. The SheCodes team was also really helpful and supportive throughout the course. It was a difficult yet sweet experience. It required hard work and consistency, and I'm glad that I made it.
