Great introduction to coding!

it was a good and challenging course but the step by step guide was helpful

I am thrilled to announce that I have created my first AI poem generator. Simple and fun project, and the concept will be useful in many other applications. Thank You, Shecodes! I can not wait until my next class.

I loved this workshop! I feel I have a deeper understanding of writing backend code, and while I am more of a designer, I have a newfound appreciation and adoration for data manipulation and parsing. Thank you to Matt and SheCodes for a fun workshop!

SheCodes Basic Add-on was easy to follow and understand. It teaches you how to be creative with css when creating your webpages and how to make your webpages visually pleasing.

A great course to learn more about coding for absolute beginners, Matt is a great teacher, and I highly recommend for any woman that wants to expand their knowledge to learn through SheCodes.

While it was challenging at times, I am confident in moving forward, as well as going back to check, fix, or learn more about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Another fun project and a useful one too! Working step by step through the different building blocks of CSS and JavaScript is really helping to cement them in by brain. I feel more confident about tackling my own mini coding projects after this course without having the rely to much on cheatsheets, AI etc.

I recommend this course for data manipulation using Python. The course was fun and very informative.

If you're like me and can't stop until it's figured out, be sure to do this in chunks; otherwise, you'll want to throw your computer across the room. However, it's incredibly satisfying when it's finished! Take this in small chunks and ask for help!

This AI add-on module was a lot of fun and challenging in a good way. I had the chance to be creative with my final project. I think this module is a great addition to the course. I would also highly recommend this one.

This module helped acknowledge the potential of developing AI apps using AI APIs and how customized they can be based on prompt engineering and context. The AI Travel Planner as a final project has practical uses in the real world and it was so fun and easy to work with. As always, Matt did a fantastic job as an instructor. I would definitely recommend this module.

A fun project creating a functional & efficient weather app

This week's project was definitely more challenging, but the end result was worth it!

I am so happy to have completed this workshop. It has been a challenging but exciting journey. I extend my gratitude to the SheCodes Foundation and to my instructor, Matt Delac for this great opportunity.

This workshop made building landing pages feel much more approachable. With some extra practice, I can now look at code and actually understand what’s going on — and that already feels like a win!

My SheCodes Experience – Weather App Project Taking the SheCodes course has been a truly rewarding experience. For my final project, I built a Weather App—something I never imagined I'd be able to create when I started! The course structure is very clear and engaging, and I especially appreciated how each concept was explained in a way that made even the complex parts feel approachable. JavaScript was definitely the biggest challenge for me, but also the most exciting part. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and sparked a real curiosity to keep learning and improving my coding skills. My first three weeks with SheCodes have been an incredibly rewarding experience. Coming into the program, I had limited coding knowledge and wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but SheCodes has exceeded all of my expectations. The lessons are well-structured, engaging, and easy to follow, even for complete beginners like myself. What I appreciate most is the hands-on approach. Right from the start, I was writing real code and working on mini-projects that helped reinforce each concept. The support from the SheCodes community and mentors has been amazing as well—whenever I had questions, I felt encouraged and never alone. In just a few weeks, I’ve gained a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’ve already built small web pages, styled them with CSS, and added interactivity using JavaScript. Similar to other final weeks of the Add-on series, Matt walks you through all the steps needed to launch the next project. It reinforces a lot of material we once learned (i.e. html, css, javascript, api integration and ai) without taking a lot of time explaining everything. This greatly improves the 'user experience' (iykyk) as a learner and lets you glide through the information as your memory recalls gets fired up! Glad I completed this course!

Using the knowledge I acquired about responsive websites to build a landing page was incredibly productive. Once again, I saw the project come to life right before my eyes and enjoyed every part of the process. Thank you once more, Matt!

The SheCodes React Workshop helped me build a real dictionary app using React and API integration. It was hands-on, clear, and boosted my confidence as a front-end developer.

This was a great course, building on both Python and AI knowledge. Although only a short course, this has provided the foundations to use APIs and AI together in so many different scenarios.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn coding from scratch. I would like to thank Matt for making it a lot easier.

At first, when I began my coding journey, I was skeptical about my performance mainly because I cannot deal with failure, and with no prior knowledge I thought I would be doomed. I am glad I challenged myself and continued but all of this was possible with Matt Delac and his skills of teaching. It hasn't been easy, well all good things do not come easy, but I can assure you that Matt is able to help you navigate the course and makes everything a lot more easier. I am really appreciative for the opportunity.

It was a lot harder than the first few course sections. I liked how the last few weeks were just following along because it was easier to complete the assignments but I didn't understand a lot of the concepts that were introduced and don't feel like I learned as much.

The SheCodes Plus course was challenging due to the advanced topics and the project, but the videos and weekly challenges made it easy to progress, especially with all the support from the SheCodes team. Now that I see everything I learned in this course and the project, I feel proud of these new skills and excited to continue learning in the rest of the courses.

The Shecodes Next workshop was filled with good advice and tips and tricks on how to kickstart a career as a developer. A rewarding end to a comprehensive and insightful course.

Initially anticipated this subject to be more complex than expected. Though, there were undeniable moments that were significantly challenging. the workshop was project oriented so , after each lesson you had a challenge/task to submit, once you have submitted you get the solution as a code and its easy to see which areas you need to focus on, i loved it so much and it was very good.

Taking the SheCodes Beginners workshop was an eye-opening and confidence-boosting experience. While I came in already familiar with some coding basics and tricks, this course truly pushed me to believe in my abilities and motivated me to keep learning. It introduced me to handy tips and features in VS Code that I hadn’t discovered before making coding not just easier, but also more fun and creative. What I love most is how it helped me see coding as a space to experiment and express myself, especially when working on my own website.
