I like it how Matt regularly reminds us ‘it's so powerful’. There is no better word to explain the reality of deploying these languages to build whatever you may imagine specially with the help of chatGPT it has even become more powerful.

Before joining SheCodes, I was completely clueless about coding and it looked very difficult, I always thought it was something out of reach for me. But after the SheCodes classes I am starting to enjoy coding and it's no longer something that is very difficult for me.

One of the best workshops honestly. My interest in web-development just grew so much more, especially my interest in JavaScript. Matt explains everything so well and makes everything easy to understand and apply. The best teacher. Literally!!!

Basics Add-On was a great continuation of the Basics course.

Definitely challenging! The final project helped reinforce everything I learned—especially around Bootstrap, utility classes, and media queries. Building a multi-page, fully responsive portfolio involved a lot of refining and repetition, which really helped solidify the concepts taught in this workshop. I’m looking forward to continuing with the Responsive add-on next, then moving into React. I’m also excited to keep building out my portfolio with past projects, personal passion pieces, and eventually real-world client work that reflects my growth as a developer.

Very good easy to follow lessons with hands on experiance!

I had wanted to join the SheCodes program for several years, and this year I finally had the opportunity. I learned a lot in the Basics course, and the materials provided helped me a lot during the challenges and assignments. So far, the program is meeting all my expectations.

This course is very tough and I had a lot of trouble absorbing the information, but we did it.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of Python. I work with Python developers every day so it is nice to really understand what they are coding.

Honestly, I can't believe that I have managed to complete the Shecodes basic coding. I am so happy, coming from a fashion and hospitality background, I wanted a change and to get new skills. I have always loved CODING, but was intimidated by it. I am a Christian, so I spent some time asking God what I should do. And whilst I was in that season of prayer, waiting for an answer from the Lord, I came across SheCodes Ad, and I knew this was what I needed. I am 47 and a single mom, and I am so grateful to God that I am learning coding. I love everything, and I honestly want to say a big THANK YOU to Matt, you are such a blessing and an amazing Teacher. I am just starting my journey as I am doing the SheCodes BootCamp, but I am so glad that I can complete the SheCodes Basic Course. Now onto the next course 😁

Building these projects helped me learn how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in real ways. I got better at creating layouts, adding styles, and making things interactive. It was fun to see my work come to life and grow my skills with each project.

I found the Python Basics workshop to be a great introduction to Python. I found the workshop well-structured, and enjoyed completing the challenges and the final project for the workshop.

I am enjoying this so much. It's a bit of a refresher for me so far. I have learned a few new things and been reminded of a few I had forgotten. I have found these courses to be great fun yet challenging. I really love the course format, which allows me to focus on the core competency that is being highlighted by each workshop without having to be dragged into the weeds with minutia. I am looking forward to moving beyond the Basics and learning some new technology. I know I am going to love it already.

Python is a bit of challenging..but I'm sure once I know how to do and how to solve the problems, should be fine:)

This coding course was incredibly helpful and easy to follow. It broke down HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a way that made everything click, even as a beginner. The lessons were clear, practical, and gave me the confidence to start building my own websites!

I started SheCodes in hopes of learning new coding languages and adding to my skills to add value to myself in my profession and I have done just that. So happy that I joined SheCodes and get to learn new skills each day.

I acquired a lot of practical coding skills, such as setting up an API, retrieving the current date and time, and using arrays, through this workshop.

This was definitely a fun little sidequest to learn more about techniques and transitional ideas to the typical landing page. I highly recommend this quick refresher to broaden any ideas for implementing HTML, CSS, and Javascript altogether.

It was an excellent introduction to Python, with a clear and well-structured approach that made understanding the fundamentals.The final project was definitely my favorite part.

first step in python

Going on board on the SheCodes journey, I was initially apprehensive about diving into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. However, the course structure was so well-paced and the lessons remarkably easy to grasp. I never felt overwhelmed, which was a pleasant surprise! I especially enjoyed experimenting with CSS gradients and found the provided snippets and tools incredibly helpful in bringing my project to life. A huge thank you to Matt; his teaching style is truly simplified and clear, making even complex concepts feel accessible. I'm now genuinely excited and looking forward to exploring more with the upcoming SheCodes courses.

This workshop had a lot of information to grasp and understand. It was all explained in detail and you can easily follow the videos, to get a understand of each challenge and attempt it on your own. I learnt so much, at my own pace and it all makes sense in the end.

A very challenging journey, yet very stimulating and insightful. As someone who is new to Coding I am learning everyday it's very exciting.

This has shown me a strong and growing understanding of Python fundamentals, especially in working with real-world data like CSV files, organizing information into functions, and visualizing data with libraries like Matplotlib.

Within less than two weeks, I successfully completed yet another React course — the SheCodes React Add-on, and what a journey it’s been! This course took my React skills to a whole new level. I built a fully functional dictionary app from scratch, using live data from external APIs and styling it responsively with Tailwind CSS. I learned how to manage state efficiently, handle user inputs, integrate image search with the Pixabay API, and create a smooth, dynamic user experience. Despite the fast pace, I enjoyed every moment, from facing challenges like debugging axios requests, to watching my app come to life, step by step. It was intense but exciting, and it boosted both my confidence and my coding skills. I'm really proud of this milestone and even more excited about the projects I’ll build next with everything I’ve learned. Thank you, SheCodes and my amazing instructor Matthieu Delac, for another fantastic experience!

Very interesting

I knew that coding wasn't rocket science, but I had only gotten as far as HTML. I thought Javascript was going to be out of reach but SheCodes makes all of it accessible and easy to understand. I am really excited about learning more as I get further through the bootcamp.
