It was hard and challenging, but very fun

This workshop was comprised of videos that were easy to follow along with. The schedule and the deadlines help with time management.

I am on a path toward learning UX Design, but was too interested in the coding aspect of tech AND the ethics and structure of this particular workshop! I gave it a go after a lot of thought, and while I've "only" learned the basics, I am ending the workshop feeling accomplished and open to learning much more, especially from SheCodes, but self-learning must be continued after this!! I planned to start SheCodes Max as soon as possible because I have a lot of faith that it will teach me valuable hard skills for development, but considering I am pursuing UX, I'll be holding off on Max to focus on UX Design specifically. However, thanks to Matt's great communication, I have assurance that I will be able to afford Max with the discount that was offered, when I am ready to take it on.

Basic level gives you an overview of how programming works. Everything is very user-friendly and quite complete. I started from scratch and had no problems at all.

Great! I really enjoyed completing the final project.

coding is intimidating but after completing challenges given in this course, your knowledge of coding improves. I highly recommend this program because it gives one the confidence to step into the tech industry confidently.

I have just completed my Basics workshop. and I have to say so far .. coding isn't as scary as I thought that it would be. Coming into this as someone who doesn't have a technology background or knowledge in the field and Never tried coding before. The classes were quick, easy, simple to understand and complete. For what you may have needed more help to do, you have a built in community who willing to help, explain and guide you through the process of self-learning. So that - YOU- get completely comfortable knowing and understanding what you are doing and why you do it. The classes are pre -recorded so you can complete the challenges at your own pace. At the very beginning I was nervous, but after my first challenge I stepped away from it and realised "Hey! I just coded something!" and it gave me a real sense of accomplishment. If you have been thinking of Coding for awhile but have been putting it off (like I did). I would completely suggest not to hesitate and Just Do It ! you won't regret it.

Coming to the end of Shecodes Plus and building a weather app for my final project wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it. Shecodes has been phenomenal in the style of teaching and the wealth of resources made available to support women learn how to code. I never could have learnt coding if it wasn't for Shecodes. So I would recommend it over and over again to any woman out there who has access to a laptop and who would like to learn how to code.

Yay! I just completed the SheCodes responsive workshop. I learned a lot about responsive web design and CSS flexbox, and I also enjoyed the process of creating my portfolio website. I'm looking forward to learning more at the upcoming workshop.

Great course, helps to improve skills and it is definitely worth time and efforts.

The process is very challenging and enjoyable, especially for those who are interested enough to learn this skill, even if they are complete beginners.

Shecodes helped me having interest in coding!

Passed the next stage of training in SheCodes. Needless to say, it was not very easy. It was a real challenge for me. In addition to learning to code, I improve my level of English). It's good that Matt did not cut out his mistakes in the training video, but left options for correcting them in the video lessons. It added life into the video, made learning easier. It's great that there is freedom of choice, creativity, there are no certain limits. Thanks again for the opportunity to learn!

A year ago I started a project in which I realized I needed to understand better technology to make it possible. In the meanwhile, I searched a programmer guy who could work on it. However, as soon as we were thinking about the development, he did some tricks with the computer in a strange language for me that made my application worked properly. Such was my amazement that I knew I would like to do some of that magic too. Now I can say that this dream is coming true thanks to SheCodes and their workshops

The SheCodes plus workshop has been a lovely learning experience! Challenging at times, but always fun. I've really enjoyed working on my project which definitely is more comprehensive compared to the Introductory Workshop project. I can highly recommend SheCodes if you are curious about learning front-end development in a flexible and supportive learning environment.

SheCodes plus has been challenging but amazing! Matt is an amazing instructor and the team are so helpful! I have already gained so much confidence in my coding abilities and I feel well-equipped to tackle complex projects.The course has really prepared me for a tech role in the near future!

During a one-month vacation in university, I thought it might be fun and useful to learn a bit of coding. I never expected to actually learn as much as I did in such a short amount of time. SheCodes basics was a fun and well-paced intro workshop that allowed me to pick up concepts quickly and with less confusion. I found myself jumping into lessons to keep the information coming. I was just excited to learn and try the next step. I loved Matt's approach to tackling trickier concepts and found the challenges fun and interesting. I cannot wait to start the next workshop and continue building my skills.

This dictionary app lets users search for word definitions, pronunciations, synonyms, and even example sentences—all powered by an API. I used React to create a clean, user-friendly interface with a search function that updates in real time. I had a great time learning introductory-level HTML, CSS, and Java Script in SheCodes Basics. I'm now eager to learn even more about coding!

The Plus add-on was very fun and interesting to learn.

Though I read other testimonials, I was still a bit intimidated by the idea of coding. I decided to go all in and have enjoyed learning thus far! Matt explains everything well and takes his time. If at any time a certain coding element slipped my mind I simply looked at my past challenges, homework, or at the lesson itself. I'm looking forward to how much more I will learn.

I have never been tested so much mentally honestly. A really beautiful yet challenging experience. I had to rewatch a lot of videos multiple times as the level was quite higher than that of SheCodes basics. I learnt so much and feel much comfortable with javascript now. SheCodes Basic is a great course for beginners. It gives a lot of basic information but it includes everything. So after this course, you will know basic information not only about one topic but about three: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am really pleased with this course. Because now I know a lot of things, which I didn't know before. And I can even create my own project. So I definitely will do other courses to go deeper into this topic.
