I loved this course - it was very cool to build my own website!

It's tough work, but the sense of accomplishment is so satisfying when I can make new features work! I'm so happy with how far I've come, and I'm ready to take on the next challenge!🤗

I had fun building a landing page from scratch. And when the code didn't work I had to find out how to do things and connect with people. It was very interesting to see and share different solutions to the same challenges. I feel like I have learned a lot so far and it's only been a couple weeks.

This workshop was really fun. I especially enjoyed creating my travel project.

This was so much fun! I enjoyed taking my own little twist on the project and creating a world clock for the Eras Tour based on the tour dates. Obviously, there is room for international dates once they are announced. :)

Building a weather application as my final project was such a learning experience! I can not wait to see what I learn next in my journey with SheCodes.

Great self-paced course for an intro to coding. Bite-size lessons make it easy to build on new skills taught each week.

Classes are broken down in a way that is really easy to learn.

Super fun and challenging. I love the community, everyone is so helpful! You can go at your own pace.

Classes were very well explained and I loved how smooth the week went by with learning everything. Definitely recommend if you are thinking about a potential career in coding! I am someone who is a perfectionist as well and want everything to be organized and this course was just that! Everything had its own place and just very easy to access.

I truly enjoyed this workshop. I learned so much in such a short time. I enjoyed that I could ask questions and someone would respond quickly or that I can research other peers questions on slack which helped a lot. I also enjoyed that I can get an extension on the workshop. It motivated me more knowing that there wasn't a penalty for being a few days late. I was able to truly put my all into this workshop.

This course is really awesome! Matt's hands-on approach to teaching is so helpful, I felt like I was making a lot of progress in every lesson. The final project is lots of fun to build, and it gave me a lot of confidence that I am improving my coding skills. I am really motivated to continue to study coding after this course.

Great workshop!!. I did a lot of learning and building using advanced JavaScript. I am getting more confident in my skills. The challenges on each lesson are there to make sure one is grasping all the concepts.

I really enjoyed the challenges throughout this workshop. I learned a lot in a short amount of time as a beginner. This is thanks to SheCodes supportive community and Matt's ability to learn and engage.

I really appreciate the self-paced aspect of SheCodes. Learning something new can be a lot on top of working full-time, but the SheCodes team is so amazing and helpful. Although it is challenging I am really enjoying learning something new and useful!!

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus course, and I have to say, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my career. SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and how they all work together. Everything was explained well and I liked that, for some parts, we were left to do our own research rather than being spoon-fed everything. Thanks for a great course!

Coding can seem like a scary thing to do, but Matt made it all seem fun and easy! If you are doubting if you should do this: GO FOR IT! Women can do it too 💪🏼☺️.

A great workshop for anyone looking to put into practise real-world skills. I have learnt so much and am able to build things with confidence thanks to the in depth tutorials and help from all of the instructors.

Really enjoyed the Basics course. It was a great way of understanding the foundation of front-end programming. Matt is an enthusiastic teacher, and that enthusiasm is infectious.

The lessons were well explained and easy to follow and the frequent challenges were really useful to build up knowledge. The level of difficulty was just right, with some parts needing research but I never felt unsupported.

This was an intense workshop packed with so much important and useful info! Matt is great at explaining as always :) Seeing the results of my work from lesson to lesson is incredibly inspiring!

I had some knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript from free online resources, but I could never get my head around putting JavaScript into practice! SheCodes broke it down into manageable lessons and had me practicing JavaScript alongside each step, which really helped cement the basic concepts for me! I've really enjoyed the Basics course and look forward to learning more advanced concepts with SheCodes!

I had so much fun learning how to code with SheCodes . The videos were very informative and the best part about it is that they were not too long or overwhelming. Loved the flexibility of the classes and the video sessions.

SheCodes Responsive was really challenging and fun. I have learnt so much and feel really equipped to build responsive websites going forward and I cannot wait to get an opportunity to use these skills. The genius of SheCodes for me is the pacing. I deeply appreciate that the instructional videos are brief, and that opportunities for any further exploration are open to the individual through the links within each lesson and through the respective cheatsheets. The additional tools developed by SheCodes, such as the palette tool also provide endless opportunities for experimentation. The sky--if there is one in one's explorations into the vast universe of coding--is the limit. 😊

It is a blessing to be part of the amazing women who are in Tech. This course has given me insight of and knowledge that I can be anything I want to be if I put my faith and believe in myself. I am glad that are one of the student who participated in this course.

I can't believe I've made it this far in my coding journey. It has been challenging but never impossible to understand. Matt is a great teacher and everyone on the SheCodes team is always very kind and helpful. I'm happy to have made the decision to learn coding.

I have never thought that I will learn coding ever, I used to believe that learning coding is difficult and will not make sense for me, But I was wrong- anyone can learn how to code and I thoroughly enjoy every bit of it. The Basics Add On workshop was a great follow up to the Basics. It was more challenging but still very understandable.

Great introductory course to coding. All of the lessons are broken up into very small, manageable lessons, with accompanying learning checks to ensure understanding.

Good content, and breaks down the more complex processes into smaller more easily understood components

The videos were very informative without being too long or overwhelming. This was a great experience to see if this could be a new career moving forward.

This workshop helped me to feel comfortable building websites, using github and really understand using grid and flexbox.
