The structure of the course allows you to practice what you've learnt immediately and the weekly project summarises all the knowledge acquired during the lessons. You can go at your own pace and learn whenever you have the time.

I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who is new to coding. My experience has been an incredible one. I have learnt a lot in a short period of time, and I strongly believe that with time I will understand each and every concept a lot better. I now know a handful about HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and I'm looking forward to improving my knowledge on them.

I had an incredible time attending SheCodes Plus class! The course was a perfect blend of challenge and fascination, encouraging me to stretch beyond my limits and enhance my coding abilities. I was completely engrossed in the coding problems and was determined to solve each one. SheCodes program has instilled a greater sense of self-assurance in my coding skills, and I can't wait to continue my coding journey.
This workshop was a great addition to my learning on web development. It included really insightful lessons and advice for web content creation. Also, the final project of a portfolio website means I can show the skills I have learnt and begin to showcase my new work! Each week is a challenge but in an enjoyable and engaging way, I would definitely recommend SheCodes!
I found that SheCodes offer proper exercises to refresh or to absolute beginners. The final project is a must to try to recap all the lessons.
This is the first time I was being introduced to Node.js and React.js. My goal was to rebuild the Vanilla Javascript Weather App to a React app. I needed to refactor my codes into different components, in a way that they would appear clearer, but still maintain the same, or even better performance. I was introduced to useState and useEffect, which are confusing at first, but so powerful. Overall, I understand why React.js is used by most developers thanks to its effectiveness, and this is a must-learn as a front-end developer.
Such a great workshop! I learned how to do so many more sophisticated things with CSS and I had a lot of fun building the final project. 🥳

I have got a Fashion Design degree, and I have always worked in Marketing & Sales. Thinking about coding, IT, and technology in general used to be so far from my reality... until a month ago. SheCodes made this transition so easy and smooth that now my curiosity about this world is growing into something bigger, which I want to pursue. Not to mention that being part of a community of amazing women is something inspiring on another level.
It is amazing to see how far I have come in my coding journey with SheCodes. I started knowing absolutely nothing about coding, and now I am building advanced projects. I am so glad I got to learn on with this program!

The SheCodes Plus workshop was definitely a step up highlighting advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript challenges. It was super cool and satisfying to learn how to create a search engine, integrate APIs and host a website using the Netlify platform.
Learning from SheCodes has transformed my skills to a big extent. When I joined basic course, I had zero skills. But now I am happy that I am knowledgeable to design websites. Thanks to the entire team of SheCodes for their constant support.
The projects and challenges provided here are really fantastic and I've learnt many things like creating a weather app using vanilla js on the Netlify site. I can't wait to start the next workshop.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop! I had no previous experience with programming, and now I believe that I have a pretty solid foundation, not only for the next levels, but also to learn on my own.

Matt is a great teacher and he explains everything in a simple way and understandable and also if you get stuck or have some questions, the SheCodes team is also really quick to answer my questions and also with other students! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn coding.
Finished my second project with SheCodes. A very hands-on program that guides you through the different facets of learning to code. Looking forward for the next step!
I really loved my time studying with SheCodes. The homework portions of each module were really enjoyable, getting the feedback email each week when you had successfully completed the task was very motivating and even if we were to fail getting feedback about what we could improve or have done differently is refreshing.
There are issues with SheCodes BASICS: If you watch the provided videos, study the attached materials/links and possibly make some notes to ensure you've truly understood the concepts before tackling the challenges, you need half an hour per lesson. There are twenty lessons in the first week alone; therefore the estimated study time is WAY off. Also, towards the end of Week 1, the lessons become notably lazy and a lot of relevant information is simply dumped below the videos. The challenge in Week 2, lesson 3 is extremely poorly explained (it gets better again after that). On the bright side: The course does introduce you to Slack and VS Code (real developer tools). Conclusion: If you're completely unfamiliar with HTML & CSS, want to get your feet wet but don't know where to start, you might as well spend 100 bucks on SheCodes BASICS. However, as of February 27, 2023, the SheCodes Terms of Use state: "It is not possible to get a refund for a course even if you contact us before the course has started." How very empowering. Mind you, we're talking about a more or less fully automated setup. Based on such a refund policy alone, I cannot recommend that you spend your money on the other (significantly more expensive) workshops. Go check out Dr. Angela Yu or Colt Steele instead.

My SheCodes journey was very constructive. I started from scratch, and in 9 months I have learned how to code. It is very fulfilling when you see your own work come to life. I can not say that it was easy, but definately worth it, 1000%. The workshops are very well structured, they are easy to follow and very understandable. The Challanges are fun and exciting. I can highly recommend this courses, they are made in such way that even without previous coding experience you can learn it. Matt is a very good instructor and all the SheCodes team is helpfull.

Basics Add-On was excellent. It gave me a chance to add another challenging yet rewarding project to my portfolio, all the while building on what I learned in the Basics course. I would recommend this to anyone looking to fine-tune on their basic skills.

I was so sure that this course is going to be great that I was preparing to go along with the cost and start studying. And then Matt let me know that I qualify for financial aid and the Delac Foundation helped me be a part of this wonderful begginer course! After three weeks I feel like I've definetely got a good a grasp on many of the elements of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I am very satisfied with how the course has been going. I am excited for the next ones, and can't wait to be a part of the Tech Community in the future!

SheCodes has unlocked a new creative passion within me! Previously I thought learning to code would be highly complex and not visual or creative - but this has proved me wrong! I've been excited to log on and complete all the lessons and projects, and realised how creative you can be. The lesson structures are easy to follow and explained incredibly well. Using slack and Athena have also helped me throughout the course, and made me feel a high sense of accomplishment. I can't wait to book onto the following levels.

Just completed the She Codes Basic-add on course (Intro to Web Development) . The course content was interesting and challenging, but presented in a way that was easy to follow. I like the practical approach to learning coding, which allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. There's a project that we had to create at the end, and Matt, the instructor, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the project, and I felt that I was able to learn a lot through this experience. I also like the fact that everyone's project is unique and different, despite us all learning the same thing. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with She Codes!
SheCodes Responsive is the third workshop that I complete. I have enjoyed a lot this one in particular because it allows me to practise all the previous knowledge and understand better how it works. I will continue with SheCodes React Workshop and I'm pretty sure that it will be challenging but very gratifying at the same time. Totally recommended

I have learned so many new things in these two months. And I'm so excited that I managed to create my first web page. Throughout the whole time I had to work with concentration and diligence, but I must say that it was worth it. Information provided in a clear and concise manner, but with an element of independent work, which also helped to better absorb the material.
Just finished my last workshop and I feel that I learnt so much through the last months, but I know there is so much more to learn. I will sign up to React add-on and SheCodes extra to gain even more skills. SheCodes is a great way to start coding. Now I'm able to use my coding skills at my job.

She codes plus really helped me to learn more about front-end coding, and the final project was a great practice.
10/10 recommend. After a few weeks I can proudly and confidently make a website with multiple pages, that is seo friendly and responsive on mobile devices. I am so excited to continue coding and creating new and dynamic projects

As someone who was never interested in the field of computer science, it was only by chance that I stumbled upon the world of coding through SheCodes. However, since the first video I saw on TikTok video on how it changed another young woman's life and completed my first workshop, my life has been transformed. After completing this programme, I am able to create and solve ideas that I used to believe were complex with ease.I believe this workshop is the first of many that will land me a solid career in tech.
I'm supper happy with this add-on course. It gave me more native tools and now I can code and style more independently. The travel/final project was super fun and inspired me to use my coding skills to help others.
