I have attempted to learn to code numerous times - to no avail. But after coming across and registering for SheCodes the journey has been incredible! I love the way it is broken into digestible chunks and there is so much guidance. The Practical exercises help you to gain confidence and experience in coding and you will make sure you have learned the current lesson before going to the next. I found the additional tips in this workshop really useful. The workshop is a really nice extension to SheCodes Basics.
As a complete newbie to coding, the learning videos were easy to follow and the challenges after the lesson really helped me comprehend more. I've learnt so much in the last three weeks and I recommend this workshop for anyone interesting in beginning their coding journey!
What an awesome way of learning code, every challenge is intended to help you grow and learn code step by step, i would recommend this course to everyone as it is detailed, structured and focuses on syntax based in Javascript, HTML and CSS. I learnt so much information but it was not overwhelming as a summary is done to help you progress in each step. Matt is an amazing teacher and i can't wait to get to the next phase.

I started SheCodes Basic with no prior experience coding or in any area of tech. Matt really breaks down the info into easy to follow lessons. I like that each lesson gave you the opportunity to actually practice coding. This workshop has really inspired me to continue my tech education! 10/10 would recommend this workshop for someone who is looking to start learning front end development from the very beginning.
I like SheCodes because it gives me all of the information/steps I need in order to become successful in the coding field. Matt has been great! SheCodes Plus was much different than the the basic class. In the basic class I truly felt like I was made for this coding life. But then came the Plus sessions and I really struggled through it. I had to request extensions several times. I finished it in the end, but it was a major challenge. Hoping the next part gives me back my mojo.
Great introduction to coding, it finally makes the difference between coding languages very clear but be aware: makes you want to discover and learn more!

Shecodes encourages me to follow my dreams. Coding was always one of the darkest places I was scared to enter. Now it has become my hobby that I seek any time to work on, although my major in University was different, and I am currently working in that field. For me, it was difficult to transfer the Html code from the previous project to React. The explanation was in the lesson after the task itself. Maybe this is the point of finding a way on other resources, but it was very difficult, because those methods did not suit me. I did it myself by trial and error. Of course, a huge plus is that you can turn to the team for help. I was going to apply in this case until I found an error. I have contacted many times on other occasions and the team is very polite, so don't be afraid to contact! A huge plus is the appearance of artificial intelligence, which helps to find errors. True, while there is a limit of 2,000 characters, and the code can be much larger π . In any case, I want to review the lessons again and consolidate my knowledge. Thanks for the opportunity to learn! π₯°
SheCodes Next is a useful 1 week course with information on updating your rΓ©sumΓ©, LinkedIn, and portfolio, and some useful steps on what to do after completing the SheCodes courses. It was a great way to finish off the workshops!

SheCodes React Workshop is been a great exposure to me. I learned soo much about React in 6 weeks and created weather app using JSX, components, hooks, axios and NPM libraries in React. I learned about creation of functional components and how state management is done in an application lifecycle in react and some best practices. It motivated me to learn more and develop web development project. Excited to continue my journey forward.

This was the first time I have ever tried coding and the SheCodes Basics program gave me all the basics I need to know if it is something I would like to pursue.
