I had the pleasure of participating in a free coding workshop with Delac Foundation. I had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their application in web development. The instructor was highly experienced and extremely helpful, providing a valuable and enjoyable learning experience. I am grateful for the knowledge I gained throughout the workshop, which I will be sure to use in my software engineering career. Thank you SheCodes !

I believe this is a tool for a very independent learner. I would say this could serve as a tool to prove to yourself if you have what it take to learn to code. Definitely good to try out before you invest more money. All in all it was an okay tool to try out! Goood Luck Learners!.

This SheCodes course is probably the best decision I have made in life so far. I am 25 with no previous experience in coding, but I've always had an interest. I stumbled upon SheCodes and thank god I did. The lessons are so easy to follow and make learning coding a fun and enjoyable experience. I have challenged myself in ways I didn't know possible and have made a website that I am really proud of.

I love the way Matt teaches this course. This workshop really is worth the time!

I was born in Minas Gerais Brazil, I lived many years in Portugal, today I'm living in the United Kingdom and here I believe that God gave me this opportunity to believe that we can always do a little more than we imagine. I am very grateful to God, my husband, my family and friends for all the support and motivation to do this course. I love being a mother, a wife, playing instruments, singing, organizing events, doing social work, using creativity. I have many work experiences, but this course has certainly made me dream more and more, it is a real challenge for me, but I am loving all this opportunity.

Very easy to follow tutorials with videos of optimal length

it was fun and challenge at times. It did take a lot more time that the recommendation hours to finish the challenges and homework.

This is a very transformative experience for me. As someone with zero knowledge of coding, I was initially intimidated by the programming world. Now I cant believe I can code impressively!

The course was really helpful and engaging but also definitely challenging!

I have honestly never been more excited to display my creative side through coding. The workshop has truly taught me the fundamentals of coding and I can not wait to explore the skills I have learned. I believe that the workshop provided the stepping stones for my coding career and I am more than prepared to learn the next fundamentals for a career in tech.

I must admit, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. I had been aware of SheCodes for a few months, but I lacked the motivation to apply until now. However, I'm truly glad that I did. The amount of knowledge I gained within a short period of time was remarkable. My sincere advice to anyone considering trying something new, such as coding, is to do it through SheCodes.

Growing up, I was always curious about how things were made and what made them run. When I discovered the internet, i wanted to know how it operate, i started learning how to operate computer but what will actually give me what i wanted to learn were very expensive. so i couldn't afford the classes. Again, Coding was seen as men's job in my community which everyone discouraged me but the zeal was still there. Years later, I stumble upon the SheCodes Workshop which offered me a chance to go back to my passion. This programm has given me skills such as a sense of community and focusing on what i love to do. And guess what? the workshop was offered to me for free. It was actually challenging with limited resources to buy date, however, my goal to continue learning and to complete the Workshop successfully kept me moving. SheCodes program has given me the confidence to continue learning. To every woman interested in pursuing a career in Coding, i urge them to take a leap, discover their potentials, and give their best. Its okay to fail, but its okay to stay down. I also advice anyone currently in the program to trust the process, stay motivated, and work with Matt and his team. It is a continues learning experience, and every day provides an opportunity to grow and discover new ways to make systems work better. I'm glade i mate Matt and his team. You guys are awesome. Great workshop!

Before SheCodes, I had a hard time grasping basic concepts in code and development. I was learning alone aimlessly. SheCodes gave me strength and restored my confidence.

I've just finished the basic course, and it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to the more advanced workshops.

The SheCodes Plus Add-On has been a fun activity over the past two weeks, tying in what I learned in the Plus course, plus some extra snazzy features.

Fun and interesting project, which allows you to become more familiar and comfortable with React, building a functional and useful app.

This workshop really is worth the time!

This level was a little bit hard, I had a hard time understanding some concepts at the beginning but the explanations are very helpful. I'm super excited to keep learning more things to improve my projects.

I thought this class was great. I'm a Delivery Manager and am taking this course to improve my technology terminology because I work with engineers.

This course was very challenging at times, but it is really nice to see what I was able to put together after all of the hours spent learning and building the final project. I do think it helped to increase my understanding of Javascript, and get more comfortable with coding. There were some lessons I felt went a little too fast for beginners, but I was still able to put together a great project for my portfolio and lean on members in the Slack channels so overall I am happy with this workshop!

Loved getting to use new html elements and styling strategies. Great add-on to things already learned.

I can't believe I have just created my own website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the past three weeks. I chose SheCodes because I work full-time and require flexible learning options. With SheCodes, I have been able to adjust my study time according to my schedule. Whenever I encountered challenges, I always had a support system through Slack, where I received assistance and learned how to address coding issues. The SheCodes staff are incredibly kind and attentive, genuinely listening to any concerns I had. I am thrilled to be a part of the SheCodes community and eagerly look forward to furthering my learning with SheCodes!

I recently completed SheCodes Plus and couldn't be more impressed with the program. The curriculum was well thought out and easy to follow. The course was 8 weeks long and focused on building a weather page and utilizing APIs. Matt is a wonderful instructor and the help team is always available to answer questions and provide guidance. SheCodes is an excellent program for women looking to break into the tech industry and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning to code.

SheCodes is AWESOME!

This add-on course was more challenging than the plus course, but worth the knowledge gained!

It was difficult in comparison with the previous courses. But conclusions were made. Should become a master in javascript at first, after that REACT will be waiting for me for deeper understanding.

I could never expect to like so much and become so motivated to complete the class,especially coming from the classical music field. But,the way Matt explains is so clear, understandable and feels safe to make mistakes,as well the whole community is amazing!

I found SheCodes when I was laid off to continue my professional development, and it came at the best time possible for me. I really enjoyed the entire course, how things were broken down and digestible for the user to understand. It was so easy to follow, and I really looked forward to my lessons each week. SheCodes Responsive 🤛... I am thrilled 🤩. It was such a great insight and experience acquired especially the design/development process (SDLC), making the project SEO friendly, also cross checking errors, debugging to make the application responsive on all devices was such an interesting learning journey. Really well led workshops, easy to follow and learn.

The lessons are well-structured, and every topic is well-explained. I usually so three videos after each work day, then completed all the challenges, and then I needed to spend only about two hours of my weekend to complete homework. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to become familiar with the world of web development.

If you want to get used to React - building this app with Matt is a great exercise!

The program is amazing, the support and tasks scheduling is perfect for a beginner. I found my learning to be smooth. During this eight-weeks long workshop, my enthusiasm in coding is getting deeper along with the weekly challenges. I coded at my work, in my bed and keep coding in mind while I was riding my bike to my house 🤣. My favorite part of this workshop is operating functions in js_I could not apply multiple function in the previous workshop but now I can see how far it can get.This workshop's brought a lot of fun, meanwhile I could feel the growth happening inside me. I has been sharing my experiences of learning with SheCodes to my friends and has encourage them to try coding (cause it is awesome!).

I really enjoyed the lesson structure when doing the SheCodes Basic workshop. Matt is able to incorporate step by step learnings and follow it up with application that helps the learner understand concepts right after. It also helps that there is a Slack community willing to help wherever you get stuck.
