Great course! Really useful for starting my coding journey
I was excited to find SheCodes as a woman with an interest in coding. Now that I've finished their program, I can confidently say that it has been one of the most enjoyable and stimulating experiences of my life. we all know that learning to code wasn't that easy especially for a newbie, there were times that I felt stuck, but SheCodes team is there to help. What makes SheCodes enjoyable is how they have organized the lessons. The program is designed in a way that the material is broken down into manageable and easy-to-follow pieces, with each lesson building on the previous one. The pace of the program is set perfectly to be challenging enough to keep the learner interested, without being overwhelming enough to make them want to quit.

The Workshop provides a well structured intro course to HTML, CSS and Javascript. I really enjoyed the course and it really helped me refresh my web dev skills.
Coding is challenging but rewarding to learn! I had a good experience learning along with a wonderful community and support team!
The lessons were explained very well with examples. It didn't feel intimidating at all. The challenges after every new lesson enhanced my learning experience and spiked more of my curiosity in adding more features to projects. I look forward to enrolling again soon and using this as training to a possible career change in tech!

I definitely appreciate the Add-On for the Basics Workshop. It helped me understand HTML, CSS & JavaScript at a deeper level. The add-on project answered any and all questions I had left on the concept of these different languages. I believe that it gave me a challenge to solidify all doubts and concerns on my knowledge, in which I did, resulting in an extra project that I am proud of.
A calm environment and a flexible schedule inspire greater learning
The SheCodes responsive course is great, but the add-on is a less desirable experience. The videos are easy to follow but not challenging enough. The course becomes repetitive. But learning is always present.
The videos being outdated made the final stages of connecting with the API more complex than it needed to be. I also feel like Week 4's homework solution could have been much better explained. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this course and appreciated the assistance on Slack - thank you kindly for that!
I loved learning to code and cannot wait to apply my new skills to my current position!
It was so great to do this workshop, I learned so much, And I can not believe that I could build my own website
I did had a great time and I learnt a lot though I had little or no time to study sometimes but I was able to sail through. Matt made it easier and a fun moment whenever he is teaching, that really gives me more courage and I had fun while coding. I'm really grateful for this opportunity!!

A fun way to test the waters - flexible schedule with reasonable goals.
I enjoyed this Workshop the most out of all the workshops thus far. I was able to use all of the techniques learned before and really see how much progress I have made personally by starting my portfolio page from scratch. I have really enjoyed learning on SheCodes these last couple of weeks. Matt is a great teacher and if you ever get stuck on a lesson or while doing homework, everyone is so helpful.
It was an excellent opportunity for me to learn new things! The course material was presented in a reasonable and understandable way, even for beginners who had no prior knowledge of coding. SheCodes has inspired me to pursue further knowledge, and I appreciate it!
at first when my master introduced SheCodes for learning programming I was kind of disappointed to myself because I was at the 4th grade of university and should pass the final project and still didn't do even a mini project. after I tried enrolling the SheCodes Basics workshop and struggling with my code bugs as I had dozens of them, I succeed find a great and cool skill but in the lovely way with SheCodes! and I am eventually thanks this website cause it cares about women jobs and highlight them just as they deserve.

Just finished the SheCodes Basics.. looking to upgrade to the next level or maybe more! I didn't think I would ever understand or be able to code, but the short and easy to follow videos meant that I could go back and watch again, without having to watch an hour long video to find what I was looking for. I really enjoyed it, and was very proud to show my completed project at the end of the course.
I would highly recommend the SheCodes course to friends, family and colleagues. As a photographer I've had my own website for years. But they were premade website templates and every change I wanted to make - like changing the font, color etc I had to search for on the internet. I thought I had some basic knowledge but NOW thanks to the SheCodes Basic Workshop I can definitely say that I do have basic knowledge! The lengths of each video is perfect. Matt does such an amazing job explaining everything. I could have easily finished the workshop in 3 weeks. But due to my job, my side hustle as a photographer and every day life, I had to request an extention twice. The Workshp showed me that my passion for coding always slumbered in me and has now awakened. I am planning on finishing more SheCodes Workshops so I can change path of careers and transition from a boring office management assistant job to a job as a Front End Developer. Thank you, Matt for teaching and showing us how easy it is to code!
Good course for getting a general understanding of React. React Workshop was more challenging one but I really enjoyed this course. I gained valuable programming skills and knowledge.

As a digital marketing professional, I took on the SheCodes Basics course to broaden my skillset, and also because I learn for funπ . Like many other people, women especially, I believed coding required a certain level of, I don't know, knowledge base or intelligence, and so I came in half expecting to quit after a few days. What it really took though, was interest and the belief that I have what it takes to be successful. I believe my analytical and problem-solving skills have been enhanced, and I look forward to what new opportunities will come through. I highly recommend! And yes, it was fun.

SheCodes Plus was very complex but very rewarding! Even if the content is a lot more challenging than in SheCodes Basics, it's easy to follow along and understand everything thanks to Matt's explanations and the amazing exercises and challenges. Can't wait to keep learning!
This was a really fun add on. course correcting when working with APIs is a must and this course gives you the knowledge to know what to keep trying at.

I recently took a front-end course and I have to say it was an incredible experience. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and very passionate about the subject matter. The course material was well-organized and easy to follow, and I was able to learn a lot in a short amount of time. What I appreciated most about the course was the hands-on approach to learning. We were given practical assignments that allowed us to apply what we had learned in real-world scenarios. This helped me gain a deeper understanding of the concepts and gave me the confidence to tackle more complex projects. Just as SheCodesBasic it was a lot of fun and I learned much about coding in js, css, html, adding real live data with API to my project. Matt explains everything very presized so it is easy to understand and to follow up. It is an awesome step by step explanation.

I recommend this workshop to anyoneβespecially designers like me who want to code their design. I think classes are very well structured, with videos and resources and good examples of digesting. Also, help is always there to ask questions and debug the code. This was a super helpful course to me, but now I am curious about what comes next :)

During the Responsive Workshop I learned a lot but in the end I think my code was still a bit messy. Because of the Add-On Project I decided to use the designs given to us, tweak it here and there, and then use that as a guideline. Designers really make your life a lot easierπ€£ and therefore I was able to structure my code a lot more, creating a better structured landing page and improving my skills.

The videos break down the steps in such a logical way thats easy to follow. Athena AI could quickly answer any technical questions that could have taken hours looking for on Google or waiting for replies in Slack (although Slack help was also pretty quick!) I feel like I'm not intimidated by coding anymore and am interested to learn more and apply my new skills! π€©

This workshop was a very challenging one for me. Although, I did learn a lot and enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth taking the extra step to learn so much more. SheCodes Basics opened my eyes to how creative and rewarding coding can be. I became addicted! The SheCodes class format is highly-structured, which is especially beneficial when doing a course on your own time at home. Matt is great at breaking down each coding concept step by step, adding new bits of information to steadily build upon what you have already learned. The mini-challenges after each lesson helped me practice the newly introduced skills, which reinforced my knowledge. I am registered for SheCodes Plus and I am so excited to further my coding abilities!

Very structured and easy to understand
This course taught important skills in how to make a webpage look good across various screens, and furthered knowledge in CSS and Bootstrap.
SheCodes Next gave great advice and lessons about how to move forward after graduating from the past workshops. I feel confident about what to do next and motivated to keep coding and now use the skills I have learnt here for a new career.
