The way this course is organized makes it easy to learn and to pick things up very quickly. There are so many resources to use and great examples to help you understand how to apply what you are learning. The challenges and projects are both fun and engaging. I often lose track of time while I'm working through them. There are also many ways to get help or talk to others for advice. Even though it's online, I never feel like I'm doing it alone. It makes me feel like a career change at any age is not only possible, but exciting.

Rebuilding the weather app in Python this time has been great for consolidating my learning, and building my confidence. Matt's approach makes the learning and challenges so much easier to understand than other ways I've tried to learn to code.

This lesson helped me understand how front-end and backend systems connect. It also improved my confidence in working with external APIs and interpreting JSON data. I especially enjoyed seeing my project come to life, and it felt amazing to see the live temperature, city, and weather description update in real time. My biggest takeaway: I can now build useful, interactive web apps and thatβs just the beginning! This project showed me that learning by building is the most powerful way to grow as a developer. The SheCodes Plus AI Workshop was a great way to brush up on my knowledge of working with AI tools as I had previously taken the Python AI workshop. While some of the topics around AI and prompt writing were familiar, this course gave me the chance to apply them using JavaScript instead. I especially appreciated the hands-on approach to API integration and front-end development. As a final project, I created an AI poem generator, which brought together everything we covered in a practical and creative way. It was a worthwhile experience for deepening my understanding of AI in a new coding environment.

I found the course very interesting and am amazed to be able to create a digital clock with real-time data. There is still a lot for me to learn and improve my skills. But, overall I really enjoyed every moment of the lessons, assignments, and project.

I have just completed my second workshop. The content was very clear and structured!
This is a challenging course and opens your eyes to the world of React coding. Patience is key. I feel I need more practice with React coding to fully understand it, as I required a lot of help from the Slack community to complete this project. However, I am proud to have finished it.
I found it really interesting to learn how to integrate AI into my Python application. The lessons are easy to follow and it's great to be able to create my own project.

The journey to learning how to code as a beginner is not easy as first, especially if you are not familiar with any coding languages but with the help from the SheCodes team and Matt Delac it becomes easier as time goes by. Coding teaches you patience and to pay attention to detail. As challenging as it was at first, I really enjoyed every moment of it. What I enjoyed most is how fun and interesting JavaScript is.
The SheCodes Career Workshop was a helpful resource as I prepare for the job market. While I was already familiar with LinkedIn tips, I found the guidance on portfolios, CV writing, and networking within the tech industry to be insightful.
The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a great opportunity to build on what I had already learned. This workshop focused on more advanced responsive development using pure CSS and embeds, which helped me deepen my understanding of layout techniques without relying on Bootstrap. It was a valuable challenge and helped me feel more confident in writing clean, responsive code from scratch.

Over the past two weeks, I learned all about understanding AI, the importance of writing powerful prompts, integrating an AI API and building an AI-driven text generator.
