I had a little bit of HTML knowledge before joining SheCodes and have always really enjoyed coding, but as I learn more and more with these workshops, I'm enjoying it so much more and can't wait to see what I'm able to do with my new-found knowledge once I complete all of the workshops.

SheCodes Basics is great for beginners! Very important detail.. this program is SELF PACED!! The lessons and challenges are very organized and easy to follow. You'll be able to complete the workshop within 1-3 weeks, depending on how much time you set aside each day. The team is very helpful and even allow extensions if you need more time to complete the homework. Overall, great program & I highly recommend!
SheCodes Basic was an amazing experience! The course material was well organized and easy to understand. The videos were clear and concise, and Matt's explanations were very helpful. The course projects were my favorite part of the workshop. They allowed me to apply what I had learned in a practical way, which made the learning experience much more enjoyable. The challenges were a great way to reinforce the concepts learned in each lesson too. It felt like I was really building something each time I completed a project, which boosted my confidence. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is new to coding and wants to learn about front-end web development. Coding really can be fun! Once again, Matt has laid the class out in an easy to follow manner - learning some new tricks and also re-iterating things we already learned. I found the review to be especially helpful for getting some things to stick in my brain. Highly recommend the classes, it has helped me to feel quite accomplished with Java Script!

Great course. Explains everything and is to the point. Not super long videos so it's easy to follow along and get straight onto hands on work. Definitely moving onto the other courses.
Informative workshop, helpful instructors/community
This workshop was very hands-on by putting all these skills we've learned into making a portfolio that can be used professionally. At this point, I feel very confident creating this portfolio on my own and not needing as much guidance. It's been a lot of work, but very satisfying figuring things out more independently while still knowing I had support when I got stuck. The videos are always very clear and helpful. I even feel more confident looking things up on my own through google and other resources.
I loved taking this workshop. As a complete beginner, I found the lessons easy to follow along, and enjoyed all of the tasks, and the project that was assigned. It was fun being able to be creative, and start to develop a new skill that I hope to use in the future.
Second course was a bit tougher but so much fun! I feel so fired up! Can't wait for SheCodes Plus Workshop!

I recently graduated from college in May 2022 and received my degree in Informatics with a concentration in Data Science and a certificate in Creative Writing and Technical Writing. After I graduated, I felt burned out from coding and decided to pursue my new grad career in UX Writing. I enjoy being a UX Writer, but I started to miss coding. Out of curiosity, I researched different boot camps, and they were all costly. I looked up boot camps that were good for women on TikTok and came across someone speaking about SheCodes. I was interested and went on the SheCodes website and was amazed at what the program offered at a lower price. I believed it would be a great way to get back into coding and go at it at my own pace. I am delighted with my decision to choose SheCodes.

I really enjoyed this workshop.
This course taught me how to use input types, select elements, JS Timing Events, JS Date formats, and JS Time Zones.
I learned so many new advanced techniques around responsiveness. It will allow me to polish my websites and make sure that everything looks good on mobile devices and desktops. It is a great feeling finally knowing how to use responsive tools.
SheCodes has been an amazing learning platform! I am learning things I never thought I would and I look forward to the next workshops.

I found this course to have a very interesting approach to teaching. The video-classes help breaking down each learning element to make it digestible, but the challenges sometimes sneak in some elements that may require the student to do some digging by themselves. It is therefore both a proactive and reactive approach to learning, which I found to be very useful.
I learned a lot of new things to be able to make my landing pages even more complex and beautiful. I enjoyed learning step by step all the new tools.

I liked this Basic course that i did. It gave me a better vision what a Front-End Developer is. Even beginning this course with some doubts in myself, i realised that i am quite good in it ,it makes fun and i really enjoyed to go through every lesson. This project was very interesting, it was built fully-responsive with pure css! Was nice to improve my CSS grid and layout skills and learn how to use embeds!

It was the most complex project and the big challenge for me because it required coding knowledge and being careful with installation and versions on Axios, Bootstrap, etc. I am happy I could resolve the issue I had by myself thanks to the courses I had before and the idea of how to deal with issues. It is a unique opportunity for ladies to be a part of the coding World. Big kudos to Matt!!!

This course assisted me in expanding my coding knowledge. My final project is a website that provides information about the industrial materials and fruits of Afghanistan. I had fun making it.

SheCodes is an excellent learning platform for people like me with no coding experience and people who are interested in coding but have no time to visit classes in person. I am truly satisfied with the lessons. Sometimes I have trouble understanding the material. However, I am getting to an advanced level and this requires more patience and study time. Matt explains the subject very well. I just need some extra time to repeat and digest everything, so that I can feel comfortable coding on my own. I highly recommend SheCodes to people who are eager to learn the basics of coding, as well as to those who are willing to get to the next level. Happy Coding!
