I started SheCodes Basic to learn what coding is, and to see if it is something I would want to do for a living. I had no previous experience. The course is a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt is a great teacher, and I am looking forward to learning more!

Joining SheCode Workshop is one of the best Gift I gave myself this year. Lessons are well explained , simplified yet detailed. This add-on workshop consisted of creating a World Clock page with many various JavaScript features. It was fun personalizing the project and I have many more ideas of how to enhance it in the future as I learn more functions.
This is my 3rd workshop with Shecodes, and I feel like I've come really far since when I first started. I'm so happy that I was able to build my own website during this course, with help from Shecodes. I will continue to edit and develop it. From the very beginning, the course was engaging and easy to follow, with a clear structure that made it easy to stay on track.I was impressed with how quickly I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course material was well-presented, and the video tutorials were clear and concise, making it easy to understand even the more complex concepts.

Before starting this workshop, I didn't know anything about coding. This workshop helped me experince coding. The best part is that whenever you have a problem, you can ask in Slack group and SheCodes team will guide you.

This workshop was so much fun! There's nothing more satisfying than being able to customize your website to make it responsive, no matter the size. There was a lot of content covered, but Matt breaks it down into easily digestible segments so it's easy to build up your knowledge without feeling overwhelmed.

The course was very easy and I feel I've learnt so much in such a short space of time. Breaking the lessons down into small parts meant I didn't lose focus quickly like other courses, and if I felt I was losing focus I could just come back the next day. Overall the course has made me feel really excited about learning more!

The five week course that could've gotten done in two weeks. By the end of week three I no longer watched any video or solution by week five I just kept turning things in bc already knew what it was they wanted of me. it is a waste of time but happy to get something out of it.
Easy to follow along especially if you have a full time job
I really enjoyed taking this course. The fundamentals were well taught and the challenges at the end helped reinforce the lessons. The Slack hat was also very helpful when I experienced hiccups while working on my challenges. As a beginner, this has been very helpful.

I have tried other coding classes in the past and SheCodes was the only one that helped me truly understand JS. Matt, the instructor does an excellent job at organizing the weekly lessons and assignments in a way that really speaks to my style of learning. I was able to follow along and loved that after you submitted your challenge, he would go over the solution so you can understand where you may have went wrong and how to fix it. I wanted to see if coding could be for me and I loved the creativity and organization that goes into it and I'm so glad I took SheCodes Basics. I plan to enroll in SheCodes Max soon!

I like how Matt explains complex things very easily and in accessible language. The approach to explaining new information is creative and you can't stop and want to review the lessons further and further))) Practical tasks are immediately adapted to real projects and you understand why this or that method is used in practice.
