Attending this basics add-on workshop was a game-changer for me. The sessions on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were incredibly clear, practical, and still beginner-friendly. I loved how the instructor broke down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and that we got to build real projects along the way. By the end of the workshop, I could confidently create responsive web pages and add interactive features using JavaScript. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone eager to dive into web development!
Absolutely enjoyed this introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The videos broke down the steps of each task/skill in a way that was easy to follow. I also liked having the visual examples of the within the lesson, so you could just copy and paste it. I also very much appreciated having the demos in the lesson to compare with my attempts. The way this workshop is set up, you have multiple tools and your disposal, which made it easy to grasp the concepts.
Working with JavaScript and Moment.js has significantly improved my ability to create dynamic, real-time applications. I gained hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, time formatting, and handling time zones across different regions. Using moment-timezone, I learned how to detect the userβs local time zone and update the interface in real time using setInterval. This experience strengthened my understanding of working with external libraries and writing clean, interactive, and responsive JavaScript code.

The SheCodes Responsive workshop has been my favorite workshop so far. Using all the skills Iβve learned to create my portfolio website in the final project was a huge accomplishment that makes me feel even more confident to transition into the tech world. I canβt wait to see what I build next, and Iβm so excited about whatβs ahead.
Dealing with AI through the front end is one thing, and dealing with AI through the back end is similar, but different... It's interesting to see how much we can do from a terminal! My creative/visual side really enjoyed the possibilities that libraries such as Rich and Markdown offer when we want to display information in a personalized way. It was challenging, but worth it.

SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questionsπ₯°! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things Iβve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.
As someone completely new to coding, joining SheCodes has been an eye-opening and empowering experience. Iβve had the chance to explore HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptβand to actually build something real and personal, like my own photography-themed webpage! From struggling with syntax to styling layouts and writing interactive JavaScript, Iβve learned how much fun (and rewarding) coding can be. Huge thanks to @Matt Delac for making the learning experience so engaging, beginner-friendly, and hands-on. His approach really breaks down the complexity and gives you the confidence to keep going. I learned a lot of neat things that I didn't know you could do with basic code. I assumed that there was a lot of difficult coding, but as you build more, you see that it is easy to do.

I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.
