Good challenging project but support was lacking.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn coding as it has unlocked a new area of interest and it was easy to understand from the way the lessons were structured.

Coming from a non-tech background , I'm glad I found Shecodes. Thanks to our instructor, Matt for his beginner friendly way of teaching. This is just a baby step to Greatness!!Shecodes all the way!!!.

I found the information to be very helpful and the tips provided were quite good.

I recently completed my basic training in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I can't express how valuable this learning experience has been for me. The journey from a complete novice to having a fundamental understanding of web development has been truly transformative. Throughout my training, I faced challenges, but the satisfaction of overcoming them and seeing my code come to life was incredibly rewarding. I also found a supportive community of fellow learners and resources online that helped me whenever I got stuck. I want to express my gratitude to the trainers and online resources that made this learning journey possible. Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has opened up a world of possibilities for me. I'm excited to continue building on this foundation and exploring more advanced topics in web development.

Found the videos easy to follow & easy to pick back up after a minor interlude 👩‍💻

It is been super fun, even for a complete beginner with zero math skills! I completed the workshop in 3 days, so it has been a lot of hours of learning and coding but it went by in no time!

SheCodes Plus is more challenging to be honest, but it's always fun to follow and finish each of the assignment!

SheCodes Basic Add-on is great if you want to know how to make your HTML more interactive. I had a lot of fun learning these add-ons.

LOVE IT! Super easy to learn and very engaging. It's a really great way to learn the basics while getting experience.

Every lesson was thoughtfully crafted. The assignments were easy to follow, and the concepts weren't too technical to comprehend. Having taken previous coding classes in college, I can attest that this is the easiest way I've learned coding yet. I enjoyed each lesson/assignment, and the implementation of the previous lesson's teachings into the new assignments kept the skills fresh. When I ran into road blocks, the SheCodes community was patient, kind, and eager to assist. I'm looking forward to moving onto the other workshops.

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.

¡Gracias! I spent a couple of months surfing the web, looking for courses to better understand how to code, and didn't know where to start. I was able to do some exciting things in Apps Script and play around, but it wasn't until I found SheCodes that my learning experience started to take shape. Now I feel very excited to continue my exploration, which is a huge turnaround from my career, and I'm very excited about it. Learning programming with SheCodes was an amazing experience for me. The educational materials were very precise and presented in a simple way, which helped me learn as quickly as possible. I am very happy to have become familiar with them and without a doubt, I will continue to learn programming with SheCodes.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is much more simple than the basic course because it's truly step-by-step. I actually did this course after I took SheCodes+ which, honestly, gave me some necessary breathing room. SheCodes+ was a bit of a struggle for me, so after learning more CSS and simple javascript with this course it kind of reignited that wanting to learn more flame. This course was a lot of fun.

So far the program has been great. I only finished the basic course and I think I can build a decent webpage now. It explains things clearly and gives you many problems in practicing what you learned.

I really enjoyed making my Portfolio and learning how to make my website responsive. We touched on some SEO basics, it was great but I'll definitely need a more in-depth lesson. Overall, I loved it and learned much!

I had been searching for a course to learn programming online for a while, and I reviewed various programs and courses at academies and universities, but none of them met my expectations. When I found SheCodes, I simply felt that this was the place where I should learn to program and I was not wrong. Thanks to the work done by Delac Foundation, I received a scholarship that allowed me to start my studies, and I can confidently say that it was by far the best decision! I'm learning, having fun while doing it, and, most importantly, the dynamic nature of the recorded classes is amazing because it keeps you engaged and allows you to code alongside the class as it progresses, making it easy to take notes as well. When I started to venture into what I wanted to do after high school I came across web development. I always put it to the side because I didn't think it was what I wanted to do. This course ended up changing my mind and now look forward to starting my career in web development.

A friend took this course 2 years ago and recommended it to me. I've never been able to complete a coding course but this one was amazing. I enjoyed every lesson and even though it's frustrating at times you learn so much and have fun at the same time!!

great course to begin front-end programming

This experience was challenging and exciting. I now look at websites differently because I understand what goes into them being structures that way - which is very interesting. Through this process, I learnt a lot about myself and the video lessons were easy to understand.

This is my 5th Course here in SheCodes and I'm really proud of myself. The way that each course is structured is excellent to follow and you learn precisely what you need to know. I am already enrolled in the next one, and I couldn't be more excited to keep going and being closer to my goal of becoming a Front End Developer.

Following the videos is really helpful to go back on things you may have missed and to get a better understanding of how developers make websites.

The perpetual isolation of the lockdown was depressing but it gave me the chance to reflect on my life. This is when I realized I was unhappy with my job and it was time to explore other avenues. During this time is when I also discovered Tik Tok. The "tech girlies" were showcasing their luxurious lives afforded by the benefits their entitled to for working in tech. I decided I too wanted a piece of the tech pie and it was time for me to search for a way in. After researching various coding programs, I came across SheCodes. The reviews were good and I loved that the program was self paced and geared towards women. I enrolled in the Basics program and I thoroughly enjoyed Matt's style of teaching as well as the various resources available. I recommend anyone that is considering SheCodes to go ahead and enroll. You will not be disappointed.

Really helped build a professional resume!

SheCodes Plus was very challenging at times, but equally as rewarding in the end. I realised how much I could take with me from the SheCodes Basics course but also how much more there is to learn. Hoping to gain some more understanding of JavaScript with my next project but I am overall feeling good about my progress and is enjoying the ride very much still!
