The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.
Challenging but very happy with the workshop
I just wrapped up the SheCodes Next workshop, and I had an absolute blast! Not only did I enjoy every moment of it, but I also gained a lot of practical knowledge that I'm super excited to put to use in my job search.
SheCode workshop is absolutely an amazing website to be. It provided a supportive and inclusive learning environment for women to develop their coding skills from lower level to higher ground, whether they have an I.T background or not. The instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, making the learning experience engaging and enjoyable. I highly recommend attending SheCode workshop to anyone interested in coding, especially women in my country Ghana.
I cannot believe how much fun I am having with this! Going from never coded a single line in my life to actually creating websites and apps! I cannot thank you enough for this!! I never expected that the course would get more exciting than the basics. I expected it to be difficult and challenging but not as much fun as I had. I cannot forget the stressful nights when the code would not work π° and the excitement of finally getting it right! I'm eternally grateful to the Delac Foundation for giving me this opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. I hope to continue learning and growing my coding skills.

All topics in this course are very easy to understand. Lessons are built from simple to more complex tasks. In this course I learned how to work with API. Add time, weather forecast in the current time. I created a page with a weather forecast that I can recommend to my friends.

Creating my own weather application proved to be more challenging than I anticipated. I dedicated numerous nights to deciphering complex coding issues, but ultimately, my efforts paid off. I take pride in how much I've progressed in my coding journey.

The curriculum was exceptionally well-structured, it focused on the fundamentals. I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part. The visual learner in me was pleased.
I enjoyed working on the SheCodes site learning new things with coding and being able to create my first interactive landing page. Hi, I'm Fernanda and I was very happy to take this responsive course, we learned a lot, especially on how to make more beautiful and functional websites, in a very professional way. Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. I really enjoyed doing the final project, we understood once again that we are capable of anything, with God, support from our family and persistence.
I am amazed by how things start falling into place with this course. I've built now two landing pages, now even with dark theme. Can't wait for the rest!

The basic course taught me how to navigate the basic topics of HTML, CSS, and also introduced me to the basics of Javascript. The course is not difficult to learn, since the lessons are very practical and viewing them does not take much time. As a beginner, I was very pleased.

I have recently completed the basics of coding through the SheCodes program. It is a good coding course and i would recommend it to people who would like to learn to code and have no basics of coding. The material they use to teach us is easy to understand and to access. Their projects are real-life project where to you test what you have learnt and gain experience. Their team is supportive.

This is the best workshop I have ever done. Easy to learn and the facilitators are a great help.
React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding π

I enjoyed the learning process and the frustration of JavaScript. π It is taught very well and you understand how to build a page from scratch. The final project was lovely to build, I really enjoyed it. It's fascinating learning everything and finally getting the code to work.

βI decided to join SheCodes after seeing a video on Instagram. I had just graduated with a graphic design degree but was struggling to find work. I looked at SheCodes as being an opportunity to expand what little knowledge I already held of HTML / CSS. I absolutely loved the basics course. Matt does a wonderful job explaining the lesson in a way that actually stuck.β
I loved working though the modules! They are scaffolded wonderfully, so I was able to go through each section in a bite-sized manner. Yes, there were times of frustration, but I found it easy to isolate where I wasn't understanding &/or going wrong. I studied a little more & played around a bit to solve the issue. I'm so happy with what I've made.
I really enjoyed completing this last add-on certification, from SheCodes. SheCodes NEXT has now giving me the steps to prepare for future roles, I might take on. This was a nice bonus certification to end the course off with!
