I am very glad to be a student of SheCodes and also grateful to Matt Delac and the Delac Foundation for the opportunity given to me to be part of this exciting and value-packed workshop. SheCodes basics workshop has enabled me to correct the misconceptions I had before that coding is hard. The workshop was exciting, fun-filled, challenging and of course the challenges were rewarding. My misconceptions were made right that coding is very easy to learn when you have a cool, intelligent, and professional instructor like Matt Delac. The video lessons were clear and easy to follow as they were segmented to made learning enjoyable. The SheCodes team on slack were also friendly and supportive as they reply promptly to messages whenever you get stuck on a particular challenge. I had a wonderful coding experience in SheCodes basics, and I can't wait to unlock the next workshop so as to upgrade my coding skills.

Now, I can create awesome websites that look good and do really cool stuff. Connecting to APIs and learning a bit of advanced JavaScript was a blast. I was worried about understanding all the JavaScript covered in SheCodes Plus, it covered loads of new topics, but Matt really made sure to explain things to the tea so that it is easily understood.
Easy steps to follow through as a beginner, HomeWorks are not instruction heavy, allowing you to follow through with what you know, as they will always be more than one solution to a problem.
Really enjoyed integrating API in react
I feel really accomplished after completing this workshop and have learned a lot! You feel really satisfied once you're able to solve problems and overcome challenges, eg figure out why something's not working. If you get stuck, you can ask for help any time too, and also the AI tool is super helpful. The challenges set are at a really good level.

I've really enjoyed this Basics Add-on Class. The instruction was once again easy to follow and yet very informative. The challenges and hands-on projects throughout the course let me apply my new knowledge instantly and helped me to consolidate it. I feel more confident trying new CSS properties and experiment with styling on my pages. In the future I can really see myself doing this professionally and I can't wait to embark on further coding challenges with SheCodes.

These 3 weeks that i spent coding with SheCodes Basics has been absolutely exceptional. The information that i was able to learn was not easy but it definitely was doable and i enjoyed every single class provided. Javascript was a bit challenging for me but nevertheless, Matt Delac is the best teacher ever because i was able to understand the concept of it after a new times of re-watching the classes provided. I am excited to move on to the next workshop and learn even more. SheCodes is the best coding website for anyone to start their career as a Web Developer
I started to have interest in coding in August 2023. Due to heavy working hours I couldn't pursue my interests, towards the end of November after I took a chance and applied I was accepted into SheCodes. Since I started with the workshop, I wish I started a long time ago. This is where my heart is.
I quite appreciate the opportunity to have completed this course. I am grateful for the whole instructions and the detailed videos.

I have learnt so much in these past few weeks. My introduction to coding was bliss. The knowledge I received and the assistance I was given, helped me complete some challenges I faced through this journey. The videos are easy to listen to and the teacher makes sure to explain every thing and makes it easier to learners to know that they can do it and be pro.He gives hope and encouragement. Also , there are many programer who were helped by shecode and that's why I would recommand this workshop to my friends. The fact that a person can learn on his own pace and be able to handle other personal tasks at the same time is good and encouraging because a person does not feel overwhelmed .

Matt is very easy to understand and pushes students to take accountability for their learning by encouraging us to research outside of the course when we don't understand or need more information about a concept. Finding info on our own will be a real life scenario, so I appreciate that the answers are not always fed. Still, Matt does answer many of the questions that I feel other courses do not.
I loved doing this course, and the deadlines helped me stay on track! It was easy to understand and to go back through the videos if I forgot how to do anything. I love all the help they offer throughout the course!

I would highly recommend SheCodes. It took me a long time to get through it but being able to move your start date whenever you needed to helped me stick with it even when I couldn't meet the deadline. I am so happy I have been able to see it through.

Basics is a good beginner coding course.
I remember when I first started out,I was so intimidated by all the new technology tools I had to learn.But the SheCodes team waa always there to answer my questions and provide me with tge guidance I neede to succeed.
The weather project has definitely been my favourite and the most challenging project I have completed. This workshop took my coding skills to new heights, introducing me to more advanced programming concepts and tools. Learning new skills such as API integration, web hosting (using Netlify) and Github has been intriguing and practical to my career in web development. The structured topics, hands-on projects and lessons have not only equipped me with valuable technical skills but also ignited a genuine passion for coding within me. I've discovered the joy of solving errors through logical thinking and I'm pleased with the outcome of my website, seeing real life data being displayed in a simple and appealing way. I now feel well-equipped to take on more ambitious web development projects and I'm excited about the possibilities ahead.
