The Responsive Workshop was both challenging and a good refresher on topics previously learnt in other workshops. It was exciting to learn how to make websites user friendly on different platforms.
This was so interesting, building this project and then realizing the potential of the project, what you can do with it, and how you can even make it better is absolutely mind blowing. Genuinely think Python might be my favorite language to code in
This is absolutely amazing....coding and making my vision come alive on a landing page is absolutely cool and empowering, from Basics to add-on, I feel really confident with each learnings and challenges.
It was challenging but definetely worth it.
SheCodes has been an amazing learning platform. You're allowed to work at your own pace most especially if you're already in a full time position and are trying to pivot. Deadlines are there to guide you and stay on track and the lessons are fun to learn and isn't like the boring lessons we'd have in varsity π. It really has been a journey but one that I don't regret!
SheCodes has been an incredible, challenging, yet enjoyable journey. There were moments when I shed tears of frustration over tough challenges, but I also cried tears of joy when I saw my project come to life. I am deeply grateful for this amazing opportunity. I was nervous at the start and wasn't sure I would be able to learn how to code. I'm happy to say, I'm learning how to code! It's been a great start and I'm going to continue learning even more!

I started SheCodes in 2023 and I have been prolonging the completion of the course for quite a while. This year, I promised myself that I will complete the course and get all certificates needed because the world is going digital now! The SheCodes Basics add-on workshop was exactly what I needed to take my coding skills to the next level. While the Basics workshop gave me a solid foundation, the add-on really solidified my understanding and introduced me to some exciting new concepts. This is my first project doing API integration with a third party and it's so cool. I've heard about Vanilla before this, and I have been believing on my own made-up myth that it would be something so sophisticated. As I progress week by week in SheCodes, it's not as hard as I feared. It is all doable and easy to understand. Including the term Vanilla. Wow. Thanks, team. Of all that, I love the support from the team. My homework is reviewed and each of my concerns are answered within 12hours so far. I appreciate that a lot Team! Plus all the messages are so positive and cheerful.
I really enjoyed sheCodes Responsive. It made me realize that building websites isn't just about getting them running. When building a website, one should consider if it accomodates all different devices and if it is appealing to users.
It was good to learn
I've been a graphic designer for many years now and have always wanted to learn to code, but it seemed too daunting to get started - until now! Matt explains things in a way that's very easy to understand and the tasks helped reinforce learning along the way. I'm looking forward to continuing the next steps of my SheCodes education!

I'm in the middle of a career change and Shecodes made my transition as smooth as possible. I'm currently working as a plant operator and can work on my Coding during my offs; that on its own is a win for me.

I was a little scared and hesitant to start coding because I had no idea where or how to start, but Delac Foundation has made it very easy for me to get the flow of coding. The tutorials and lessons are very user-friendly and beginner-friendly. The instructor is interactive and has helped me build a good foundation in the skill of coding. She Codes Foundation has a supportive community and good mentors who are always available to answer questions and assist with guidance. I have progressed from a beginner who knew very little about coding to being able to build my own projects. I'm really enjoying my journey into coding so far.
I enjoyed building on my existing skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Learning how to create a landing page with a light/dark theme, building grids using CSS and alternative background option like using an image or color gradients, as well as learning how to use JavaScript to minpulate HTML classes.
i enjoyed my sharpening up my tools again with the cool techniques it was very fun!!
I found it a good challenge creating the weather app through the use of more in-depth JavaScript and implementing an API.

I have always had a passion for coding due to my elementary school teacher. He gave us a coding lesson during IT class but it wasn't from scratch we got to repeat his code but we were excited to create our website. Since then, I wanted to learn how to code but due to my family's financial background, I couldn't afford a laptop. But as I grew in my career, I got the opportunity to make my dreams come true, when I came across Shecodes, I learnt everything that I didn't understand from what my teacher taught me. Super fun to learn how to use AI
SheCodes Advanced Python workshop was a great follow on from the basics workshop! Matt's video tutorials were clear and easily digestible so following along and completing challenges were simple and fun to do. Throughout this course, I was given plenty of opportunities to practise coding with Python and the final project was exciting to see a real-life example of what I had learnt in action.
I had a lot of fun building this poem generator app. It turned out awesome and it was easy to build with the help of the instructor. I'm looking forward to the next workshop.
I have worked in the restaurant industry my whole career, currently a full-time manager. I want to learn and employ new skills to support my current position and try my hand in the coding/ ux/ui field.
I started SheCodes with absolutely no knowledge of how to code. The programme was not only challenging but it also gave me the feeling that I had all the support I needed at my fingertips. It has been a while since I started coding but always like a hobby. After searching for so many online tools to help me learn, SheCodes has been the best fit ever! Matt's classes are always clear, objective and precise, divided in short videos, which helped me to feel more motivated to study after work. Now I effectively learn some Javascript and expect to learn so much more with the next steps!
This was exciting and frustrating at times, but I absolutley loved the sense of achievement. The lessons were easy to follow, it was just the silly typos in JS and HTML that were difficult to find and correct.
