I had not even a single clue about HTML , CSS and Java Script. but now I'm able to navigate the basics quite well.
I absolutely loved SheCodes Responsive, creating a portfolio was a much more interactive experience using the knowledge I learned in the previous courses. I decided to go for the photography portfolio to showcase some of my pictures taken over the years. With my previous knowledge, I was able to build a responsive website which also looked good! This project was one of the most exciting ones, as I was able to show what I am passionate about.
I truly enjoyed the Basics Add-On project. The step-by-step instruction really helps out when you get lost. "Dark theme" was challenging for me, but I continued rewriting the code until it worked out.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the SheCodes program. I was looking for something to help me switch careers while enjoying the process. I love being a bartender, but the night shifts and no weekends off aren't stable long-term. When I found SheCodes, I was worried about how hard it would be, but the clear explanations made it enjoyable. I love coming home from work and diving into my studies. Switching careers now feels exciting, and I can't wait to start the higher-level courses. I'm really enjoying it!

I'm trying to learn skills to add to my list of things I can do as a creative, and coding was something I was interested in adding. SheCode plus kept me on my feet. I would not lie it is interesting and keeps you thinking. It made me improve my analytical skills. I really enjoyed doing this workshop. When I completed the first one, I started thinking about how to do more things with CSS, HTML, and JS. The add-on course gave me exactly what I was looking for.
This Workshop has been challenging, I almost thought I would give him coupled with the many challenges I faced. It was tough but Matt made the sessions fun and interesting. So many times I had to take long walks, and sometimes I had to take days off, but I realized every time I completed a week and submitted the Challenges, I felt this sense of fulfillment and achievement at the same time. the way Matt went through each week was like a refresher course which was very helpful. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I do not take it lightly.
Coming from my background as a musician, coding feels both unfamiliar and also similar to learning a new language, like French or music. Even if it all seems new at first, elements become more familiar with use. The lesson videos move quickly but they're packed with information and you can always go back to review.
An amazing course that learns you so much in a short period of time, but is still easy to follow. With descreptive videos and challenges throughout it is easy to keep up with all the information and new knowledge.

I NEVER KNEW I CAN CODE because I tried to self learn years prior and it never worked for me. I loved my experience because SheCodes has a team within my reach for help and yet I chose frustration and tried to solve things on my own and I was happy with my choices because I never knew i actually have the mental capacity to solve hard things. oh... and I did somehow abused my extension but every frustration was worth it because some lessons were more harder to comprehend and understand than others FOR ME. :)
I definitely pushed myself in this course but it was nice to design and code something functional and make it available for others to use

I loved how easy the courses were! This was only possible because the course itself showed you how to find the answers through your own understanding. I was working mostly on my own and sometimes I would get stumped but thanks to the lessons I was able to work through these problems on my own.
I have always felt intimidated by coding but it was something I knew I wanted to learn eventually. I am glad I shared my interest in SheCodes to my significant other and received the support and final push I needed to attend the introduction workshop. After the Basics Add-On Workshop, I am more confident in playing with CSS.
I would highly recommend this workshop to absolutely anyone who is interested in pursuing coding as a career or even as a hobby. The lessons are explained in a matter where it is so easy to understand. I am taking this course while working over 65 hours a week at my current employment, and it allows me to understand in a short time and successfully complete my assignments. If i can do it anyone can do it.
