I started the SheCodes basics program about a week ago, but I have learnt so much about coding. Considering how little knowledge I had about coding before SheCodes and now, I think I am doing very well. I will forever be so grateful for such an opportunity, I cannot wait to see what is ahead.
Reflecting on my journey through this challenge. I am happy proud and in a bit of disbelief at how far I've come. This wasn't just about learning to code; it was about pushing my limits, juggling my life's responsibilities, and overcoming the voice in my head that often whispered, "Can you really do this?" My fascination with technology and the desire to deepen my understanding of it were the initial sparks that ignited this adventure. Yet, what carried me through was not just fascinationβit was a gritty resolve to grow beyond the person who first looked at the bootcamp options and wondered if they were in over their head. From day one, it was clear this would be a marathon, not a sprint. I tackled each challenge with a mix of determination and humility, and SheCodes makes it easy to take the feat head-on. The flexible learning options and incredible resources provided were instrumental in accommodating my hectic schedule and unique learning pace. SheCodes was designed with a keen understanding that each studentβs journey is distinct, and this philosophy was reflected in the plethora of materials, support systems, and scheduling flexibility offered. I have been interested in coding since a very young age. I didn't go into the tech direction when it was time to choose what university course I wanted to study but here I am many years later. I found SheCodes on the internet while I was looking for which bootcamp or coding workshop I should go for when I finally decided to pursue my passion. I loved the fact that SheCodes was all about getting more women into the tech space. I then took the free coding class by Matt and after completing it I knew that this was the right coding workshop for me. So far I have learned a lot and I am very excited for whatβs to come!
I had so much fun learning about advanced JavaScript. It was a challenging yet a fun language to learn. Iβm so happy to know how to call a function and happier to have gained knowledge about how that concept works. This workshop was with no doubt much more challenging than its predecessor. JavaScript demands a lot of thinking and comprehension of its concepts and this workshop does a good job to deliver such demands. I'm confident in the skills I've learnt in SheCodes Plus and I cannot wait to learn more exciting and challenging ones!

This course was a challenge as a complete beginner, but once you understand the process, you will enjoy seeing your projects come to reality. The most challenging part for me was CSS and the punctuation codes to respect. Otherwise, I loved the self-paced content methodology and the materials available on the SheCodes website. I recommend this course for anyone looking to learn a new skill :)
It's surprising how little information about properties can make a webpage so much more enjoyable. I just keep showing my work to friends & family like a little kid who made a drawing. I'm still trying to figure out more complexe grids with elements of different sizes though.
βIt is a terrific coding program. You guys make it so simple yet very interesting. This program enables a user to code confidently and easily. I have taken python and java in the past and have had a horrible experience with my coding, but through this program I started loving coding again.
I'm so grateful for the Delac Foundation. I got to learn a lot in just a space of 3 weeks and I'm super excited to learn more for the next coming weeks. As much as this course is self-paced, I love that it has deadlines for projects. This way I get to see my progress.

As we know, learning practically has more impact than doing the things after learning, SheCodes has proven it true as we can have a lot of practice through challenges after every video.The weekend assignments, their solutions helped us to learn the things more in a proactical way.

Learning Front End Software Development always felt overwhelming, but SheCodes Basics broke it down into manageable steps. The interactive lessons and audio exercises made it fun and engaging. I was surprised at how quickly I progressed. Within three weeks, I could design a plain interactive website. "I actually have no background in coding. I studied Tourism, but I've always been interested in learning about coding and IT.
