SheCodes is a great program that allows its students to learn and experiment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as much or as little as they would like while providing great resources through the instructional videos and solution videos, Slack, and teaching how to better utilize google. I appreciate that we were challenged to figure out different elements, functions, and properties in each challenge, and then given a solution at the end, that is a very helpful way for me to learn
Learning about the basics of python was interesting! Its similiar in javascript in many ways, so it was easy to understand

Built the website from scratch without using Bootstrap. It was tough at times, but I learned a lot and the result was worth it!!!

I really enjoyed the web development course, especially the practical approach of building a weather application. Working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating an API gave me valuable hands-on experience. The way this course is organized makes it easy to learn and to pick things up very quickly. There are so many resources to use and great examples to help you understand how to apply what you are learning. The challenges and projects are both fun and engaging. I often lose track of time while I'm working through them. There are also many ways to get help or talk to others for advice. Even though it's online, I never feel like I'm doing it alone. It makes me feel like a career change at any age is not only possible, but exciting.

Rebuilding the weather app in Python this time has been great for consolidating my learning, and building my confidence. Matt's approach makes the learning and challenges so much easier to understand than other ways I've tried to learn to code.
