Huge thank you to the SheCodes team and to my teacher, Matt Delac, for an incredible coding and learning journey. This experience has been challenging, exciting, and genuinely empowering. I started with curiosity, and along the way I gained real confidence in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, APIs, and problem-solving. Every lesson, challenge, and project helped me see that coding is not just about writing code, but about learning how to think, create, debug, and keep going. Iβm especially grateful for the clear teaching style, the supportive community, and the way SheCodes makes coding feel possible, even when it gets tricky. Thank you, Matt, for making complex concepts easier to understand and for inspiring so many women to believe they belong in tech. This journey has opened a new door for me, and Iβm excited for everything Iβll continue to build from here.
Not an easy one, as you get further into coding the more complex it is going to be. But making mistakes will teach you how to solve the problems. Even if it takes time to discover them, the important thing here is to have them solved. That's what learning a new skill is supposed to be. I still have a lot of improvements to make. But for now I'm happy with the results so far.

SheCodes Basics has been an incredibly fun and informative programme. It has completely changed the way I view and interact with websites. I now approach webpages with a deeper understanding and greater insight, which makes the experience far more engaging and enjoyable. The programme has provided me with a strong foundation and enough basic knowledge to understand and build my own webpages. It is perfect for beginners and offers an excellent starting point to kickstart your coding journey.
I had a great learning experience with SheCodes. The courses are well-structured and beginner-friendly, making it easy for someone starting out in tech to understand. As a Talent Acquisition Partner for a SATCOM company, I regularly recruit Software developers, but SheCodes has given me a completely new appreciation and understanding of what they actually do day to day. I started SheCodes without any background of coding and also for it to help me understand better at school as I'm doing Computer Science. All I can say is that I now actually feel like a Proππ. It has not only help me understand better at school, but I now have a skill to code which was something I was looking forward to. Built a responsive landing page for my favorite city, NYC! I learned how to structure layouts using responsive grids and how to add embeds to add real dynamic content. I recommend this course because it made me feel more confident in my coding abilities.

It was a fun project
Working on responsive design completely changed the way I see web development. I learned how important it is to create experiences that feel smooth and beautiful on every screen size, not just on desktop. Responsive design made me appreciate the balance between creativity and functionality, and itβs one of the parts of front-end development I enjoy the most.
Learned many concepts in just 2 weeks, but they were easy to understand.
Challenging but super engaging content that pushed me to think deeper when diving into the world and infinite possibilities of AI. Help was on hand when I found myself stuck to kick my brain's butt and unstuck it π Fantastic experience overall π
One of my favorite things I learned while building this cooking blog was creating a dark theme. I always loved using dark mode on websites, and learning how to build it myself made me feel really empowered. Seeing the page change themes with just one click showed me how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create interactive experiences. Every new feature I add makes coding feel more exciting and creative.
SheCodes is a great way to refresh my web development skills while showcasing my creative projects.

A very helpful and well-organised workshop. The explanations were clear, the exercises were practical, and I gained confidence in using React and Git workflows.
As a non-programmer in a family of programmers, I feel I have a great start to learning more and a basic understanding. This course has given me that foundation. I am eager to learn more, and Matt is an excellent teacher who gives you enough instruction while challenging you to keep it interesting. I am always excited to sit down and watch my SheCodes classes, work on my challenges, and, most importantly, finish my projects.
I found the Add-On certificate both challenging and enjoyable. There were moments of frustration, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, which helped me stay on track.

Before SheCodes, understanding code felt very distant and overwhelming. However, in SheCodes everything is explained step by step, and itβs exciting to see how you gradually understand each part of the puzzle and are then able to bring your own ideas to life. Plus Add-on workshop was really fun! I got to dive into the world of time zones and date formatting, which I honestly found fascinating. There is something satisfying about seeing a clock tick in real time on a page you built yourself. I loved working with moment.js and building my World Clock app. It felt like a real project that I could actually use and show off in friends and family.

This project was a bit tricky at times, but I've really enjoyed working on it and I'm proud of myself for achieving the final outcome.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes program. It exposed me to coding for the first time, which sparked my curiosity and shaped my perspective as a developer. While I discovered that I love and enjoy backend development more, Iβm truly grateful to Matt and the SheCodes team for teaching me frontend fundamentals. Honestly, I didnβt think Iβd get this comfortable with React this quickly. At first it felt confusing, but once I started building the weather app, things actually started making sense. Seeing my app fetch real data and update based on what I searched was such a good feeling. It stopped feeling like Iβm just learning and started feeling like I can actually build things on my own. This course really pushed me, but in a way that made me want to keep going.

My favourite workshop out of them all
This workshop was very informative. It gave a quick exploration of integreting AI in websites.
Another great challenge with more complex functions to play around with. The course gave the basics and was up to me to research and trial different things to get what I wanted as an end product. The use of AI definitely helps and the combination of AI help plus understanding the basics turns the learning process into a more personalised experience.
The course made learning Python and AI feel fun and approachable. I loved building real projects step by step, now I feel much more confident coding. Such a rewarding journey!
