I'm in love with learning the Japanese language and I've been practicing Japanese since January 2025. I enjoy learning a whole different alphabet and I found Japanese to be the easiest language and alphabet to learn compared to other languages. My project consists of the Japanese language and culture.
After such a long break! I have finally come back to shecodes and im so glad I did. It is so fun to see what you've learnt in the projects set for you and the homework! Can learn at your own pace however i will continue to be consistent, think its more beneficial and helpful if you keep the momentum. Cant wait to go onto the next course now!

You know that moment when your code finally works and you just sit there smiling at your screen? Yeahβ¦ I had a few of those. π I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained. Even in those βwaitβ¦ what is going on?β moments, I still felt supported and motivated to keep going. By the time I wrapped up the World Clock, I wasnβt just typing code. I actually understood what I was doing, why it worked, and how to make it my own. This add-on didnβt just teach me new JavaScript skills. It reminded me that I can learn tough things and enjoy the journey while Iβm at it.

This was the most fun I've had in a while! After learning so many new things in the previous courses, this project reminded me of the power of pure HTML and CSS. Being able to build a website without JavaScript was really satisfying! Diving into CSS Grids, HTML tables, and figuring out how to make it all responsive was incredibly fun and rewarding!
The SheCodes Responsive Add-On challenged me in the best way possible. I struggled initially with HTML structure, specifically fixing div closures and getting card layouts with embedded maps to display consistently. The course's hands-on approach forced me to debug real issues, which taught me more than any tutorial could. Developing the AI French Poem Generator was a crucial milestone in my learning process. This was hard. It felt like a big step-up from She Codes Basics and I wondered several times if I would get through it. But.... very slowly and with a lot of repetition, things started falling into place. I still don't fully understand everything, but I have gone on a journey with this course and the end result was incredibly rewarding.

The Responsive course final project was challenging yet totally fun! The knowledge I gained in Bootstrap directly applies to making any website responsive, and it showed me how many options you have to design a website based on your preferred style. The section on wireframes was incredibly useful and has me thinking constantly about how I can improve the design for users visiting my site. Another great learning experience!

Certainly, this has been the biggest challenge on this bootcamp. Coding with React has shown me that it is possible to do everything that I had already learned in a more practical way, wich doesn't mean that it was easier to grasp the language's logic. Hands down one of my favourite workshops. The workshops have been arranged so that you can get to this point. If you were to start here without any background in coding you would feel like you were on a different plane. Everything that we were taught from the beginning with HTML, CSS, Javascript embedded code from Google Fonts and Font Awesome set us up to be able to understand how to use Bootstrap, Responsive as well as other platforms. I am so very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far. A huge thank you to Matt and the team. I am nearing the end of my SheCodes journey as a student and will soon hopefully start a chapter as a Junior Developer. I feel confident, hopeful and excited to enter it and it's all because of these fantastic workshops. To other students out there, I donβt know where you may be on your learning journey whether you are a student or thinking about becoming one. I want to encourage you to start or continue on this path. Itβs not easy but step-by-step, little by little you will get there. Thereβs a great team and other students here to cheer you on.
