SheCodes Plus was a welcome challenge. Learnt to be more patient with my self during times when the code was not working. I have learnt to be more resourceful on asking for help when I was struggling. Overall the experience was both exciting and a wonderful learning experience.

Around 6 years ago I graduated university with a MSc Computer Science. Since then I have been raising and working around my four children. I enjoyed this course. It was very challenging. I am new to the tech industry so most of these concepts, I am doing them for the first time.So this course especially the final project pushed me. As a beginner, it took me a bit longer than the expected time to complete the SheCodes Basics workshop. However, Matt's videos are well explained and really helpful. Also, the response time for questions is very fast (Thank you Britni!). I can't believe how much I learned in a short period of time. Even though my passion is not coding, there will practical uses for it in my business moving forward.
I decided to continue on with SheCodes and am continuing to learn much more. I am feeling like a developer the more I complete each lesson and challenge.
WOW~! I've never been so excited to finish a challenging project. The satisfaction of being able to create projects and design them myself is creatively stimulating. Can't wait to learn more!

Through this course I was able to learn things that are not learned in most courses, and the videos are well explained and not difficult to understand.
This Responsive Add-on workshop has been instrumental in expanding my skill set and deepening my understanding of responsive design. Through this experience, I've also strengthened my proficiency in CSS, independently of frameworks like Bootstrap.
I had fun learning to make grids and the dark theme button page. Also, the transformations with the pictures. Overall I am having fun and I can't wait to learn more.

The workshop was good, challenging but manageable and fun.
This workshop was completely engaging from start to finish. As AI continues to become more popular it was really interesting to engage with and see how it works. I had a lot of fun creating both a joke and a poem generator.
I completed the Basics course back in January and it felt amazing to begin my coding journey and finish the first course so strongly. However, I stopped coding for a while and didn't practice the techniques I learned; but when I was ready, I came back and did the Basics course over again and went on to the Basics Add-on course and now, I have completed that as well. I love that the courses are there for me whenever I need them, forever.

I recently participated in the SheCodes React online workshop, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. As someone relatively new to coding, I was initially apprehensive about diving into React, but the workshop provided a structured and supportive environment that made learning enjoyable and accessible. The curriculum was well-designed, starting with the basics and gradually building up to more complex concepts. Each lesson was clear and concise, with plenty of hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. One of the things I appreciated most about the workshop was its focus on real-world applications. Rather than just teaching theory, we worked on practical projects that helped me see how React can be used to create dynamic and interactive web applications. Building a (nearly) complete site has always been a goal of mine, and this course made it possible! With clear instructions, I was able to bring my vision to life.
After completing the Basic course, I can only warmly recommend SheCodes. The division of topics such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript into individual, short learning sequences and exercises is very intuitive. This means everyone can learn at their own pace and review what they have learned over and over again. Sensational concept!
Basic Add-on was a fun addition to learning more about coding. I love the styling part of my project, it makes my creativity come out. Again it was easy to understand and well thought out.

When I started this journey, I only knew how to turn on my computer and search for things on the internet. I had no idea of the inner workings of the global web and, although I might not yet be a master at coding, I'm proud to report that I can do so much more than type a question on a search engine and the skills I've learnt thus far will go a long way in whichever way I choose to use them in my world. I am absolutely looking forward to doing more and learning more.

Learning to build a website using a design made in Figma was really nice. Making a website for my favourite travel spot, Koh Samet, was a joy. Now, I'm excited to go back, and I hope my website inspires others to visit too. I totally recommend the course for anyone looking to learn to put design concepts into reality.

Definitely a very challenging workshop. It was nice to see how powerful React can be and be able to build a weather app from scratch however, it felt very frustrating and some of the lessons seemed just like bits of random pieces of information. I found a lot of youtube tutorials were actually more helpful. Nevertheless, the team was always there to help and solve approached issues. I am very happy to have this introduction to React but itβs definitely not enough to feel fully comfortable using it.
