The course was quite comprehensive and designed to make us easily understand all the concepts. It had a thorough layout which also gave me creative freedom. The Weather API was well documented and made it easier for me to use APIs.
In this project, I explored advanced CSS positioning, selectors, and styling techniques. I learned how to implement search functionality within my application and investigated various methods for displaying the current date using JavaScript. I gained insights into JavaScript selectors and events, as well as how to create effective functions. Additionally, I was introduced to APIs and successfully worked with the SheCodes Forecast API, learning how to make API calls and interpreting the response object data. I practiced looping through arrays, and after much attempts, I was able to successfully display the live forecast for the week. Great project.
Matt makes coding so much fun and enjoyable. I have loved learning how to code and create a portfolio. I have learned so much and I hope to continue to grow as a developer.
React was fun and a little challenging. I enjoyed every bit of it. Defiantly looking forward to React Add-on.
The projects are beginner-friendly and let you build on top of your already gained knowledge. I highly recommend.

I made a dictionary app using React. You can type a word and see images of this word, you can hear the pronunciation and you can see an explanation of the word with an example and synonyms. I made it look like you are watering/saving the plants.

This workshop was a great way to reinforce everything previously learned. Creating this dictionary app was a fun and challenging experience. I learned a lot of new techniques that will definitely be useful in future projects.
It was funny, I like build apps and try to improve it! A project is never truly finished, but I'm fine with the final result (for now!).
The Basic Add-on is short, but it was great to go over the basics one more time. It was good to do a real project with it.

Continuing from my initial usage of the SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I utilized the Basic Plus program to further strengthen my skills and found it a great and strong help to my coding abilities. I loved working on the final project. Being able to work with a topic that I love rather than a pre-planned topic feels good because I am able to flex my creative muscles within the confines of what I am learning. I will be continuing the SheCodes Plus full Bootcamp to completion. SheCodes fuels my greed for learning. Highly recommended!

SheCodes Basics was a great start of my new journey in the world of coding and I couldn't be more excited to see what else is to come! It was very well structured and so addicting that I manage to finish the three weeks worth of content in just one. The fact that we have so much flexibility and full power of when and where we want to do our classes makes it the one of the very best platforms for learning.
Before this course I had absolutely no experience in coding, but it was set up to be super user friendly & easy to follow along. I never thought I'd be able to learn how to code especially in such a short time. It looks intimidating in the beginning but it definitely isn't, it's fantastic. This is a whole new way to show your creative side.

This has been the most challenging workshop so far. Thanks to Matt each lesson was explained easily and I still could go back and go through the lessons in instances where my code had bugs.I feel so motivated to build a similar app with the knowledge I have gained so far from SheCodesβ€β€.
React add-on reinforced everything that I learned in the class previous. Building the dictionary was a fun experience and I can't wait to build my own future projects. I loved that the lessons were bite-size and the challenges really helped me apply what I had just learned. As a UX/UI designer, looking to become more knowledgeable with development to improve my collaboration with developers, I felt like I learned a good amount in the three weeks.
If few weeks ago you tell me I would be able to build something like this by myself I wouldn't believe it! I love how week by week my skills and knowledge keep improving! I can't wait for the next step!

In this workshop you will learn a lot of tricks and tips on how to create websites that will work on all screen sizes exactly as you want them to; an asset which is really important nowadays as you never know what device the user is using to access your website.
