As a beginner with no IT background, the course was not that difficult, but it was very challenging especially JavaScript since the lesson are not that in depth but with a bit of practice some lessons were enjoyable to do. The course really does lay a foundation.
The React workshop really helped me bring my coding to the next level. This workshop has definitly helped me gain more confidence in my coding abilities and I am amazed at what I am able to achieve now. This workshop was quite challenging at the start but by the end I was feeling quite confident. Matt was an awesome instructor as always and is very thorough in explaining the concepts.

I have completed my SheCodes Responsive Add-on project! Creating a website on women in gaming was an empowering experience. I loved diving into advanced CSS and HTML tools. Choosing this theme was particularly meaningful, as it celebrates diversity and representation in the gaming industry. I received my PhD in Biological Engineering, and half way through my program I realized I was more interested in software but within Biotech. Since then I have been finding ways to learn how to grow my technical skills, as transition my career. This was a really fun workshop! Learning how to integrate AI with API is very complex, but seeing the end-result makes all of it worth it. Continuing my coding journey through SheCodes AI Add On was exactly what I needed to give me the building blocks for using AI in my existing sites and applications. The course is a great way to learn how to integrate AI Apis and use them to create powerful functionalities.
React was a challenge for sure, and I did learn a lot and enjoyed the results at the end. I do want to point out (and that's the reason I'm not giving 5/5) that in this particular workshop (React) I felt that the lessons were taught with language and concepts that we haven't heard before but like we were familiar with them already, and I had to have Google and Youtube open separately and learn things there at the same time, which I felt should be included on the paid course. Othen than that, learned a lot.

NEVER GIVE UP! It was a very interesting project. When I was having a hard time, or when I was getting discouraged, I would play the video again and Matt would say, βWatch it! This is fun! Enjoy it.β And it worked. Thank you for these wonderful days in which I coded. Now this is a real passion for me. You taught me that everything complex can be broken down into parts.
