In this workshop, I studied what AI is and prompt engineering. I practiced how to write effective prompts, how not to write a prompt, and how to write code to interact with different AI models. I worked with the SheCodes AI API, which I integrated into my project. For an assignment, I created a joke generator. There was a button to click, labeled βTell me a joke,β after which a joke would appear. This was excellent practice and skill-building in preparation for my final project, the poem generator.
SheCodes is a low stress way to learn coding! Really enjoyed the lesson format and challenges.

When I started Basics I had 0 background of anything I learned here. But the way everything was well explained I felt like I had done this before. I love how accommodating the pace of the boot camp is and honestly, it feels like the dream to be a developer isn't far anymore. Just start.
Mastering React posed a significant challenge compared to the earlier parts of the course. However, Iβm thrilled to have navigated it successfully with SheCodes. Previous tutorials I attempted didnβt provide the same level of clarity, leaving me struggling to grasp the concepts. Mattβs teaching methodology once again proved invaluable, helping me overcome an obstacle I wasnβt sure I could manage. I extend my gratitude to Matt and the entire SheCodes team for their support.

I have made it this far (pheww!). React challenged my coding skills I have learned thus far. Matt was able to walk me through each step of building the React Weather app. There were some hiccups along the way with the API information due to unexpected changes that could have been included in the learning videos. I relied on getting help from Slack and voila!
Before attending the coding workshop, I had minimal experience with programming and was eager to learn more about from SheCodes. I highly recommend to the SheCodes. I finished SheCodes Add On Class again successfully . I am so glad for this.I didn't know that SheCodes before and coding is not known similarly. I know that people write websΓ¬te. But these skills that I couldn't afford so I thought before. Firstly I had got to attend Basics SheCodes Class. From the Basics SheCodes Class I learned HTML, CSS and Java scripts as Coding tools and techniques . The teacher's courses are very good which are full of video lessons. SheCodes Basics gives you an overall idea on how to create a website. I would totally recommend this course even if you do not have any previous experience. It was really accessible since I work full time but it still allowed me to complete this course at my own pace.
The challenges were actually challenging which isn't always the case with these courses and I loved it. You're not simply repeating, you have to think about what you want to achieve and how to get there so the knowledge will stick much better. The videos were easy to follow and I felt supported the entire time. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant module. This is when the penny finally dropped for me about why we have separate components in React. Chuffed to bits with my dictionary app! It isn't fully styled the way I'd leave it but I'm keen to get on with the course - I have built it and learnt how it works and that's great!

I just finished SheCodes Basic Add-on course. The course is exciting, easy to follow, and effective. I learn many new things about styling CSS. Java Script is a little challenging, but Matt's explanation makes it easy. I am excited to learn more about coding. π
Iβve fallen so deeply in love with coding, and I owe it all to Matt for being such a great instructor. When I started, I had zero experience with web development. But after Basics Week 1, I felt confident in my understanding. I even began inspecting other webpages in my spare time and could easily read and interpret the Elements tab. Creating my own landing page was a fun and rewarding experience!

HTML/CSS/JavaScript lessons were pretty easy to digest thanks to Matt & his great team and I appreciate all the effort put into this amazing project that introduced me to the wonderful world of coding.
The material perfectly structured for me: it was focused on syntax and major tools, dotted with some "best practice" and tips. In the challenges and homework, I especially liked that there was a bit of room for me to work a little harder and find or refine solutions on my own instead of simply repeating exactly what was shown to us. I learned so much without feeling pressured at all, and now I feel very encouraged to keep learning!

Creating a weather application using API integration was an enriching experience for me. It deepened my understanding of data handling and API usage and gained invaluable insights into application development. Providing real-time weather updates and forecasts was enriching. My favorite workshop so far π
I appreciated learning the basics of python. I quickly realized I am probably more interested in front end web development because it is a lot more fun and interactive than just playing with data. Very interesting to see the similarities and differences between Javascript and Python. Not the most entertaining course compared to the others, but still learned a lot.
SheCodes Basic was awesome was challenging enough to get my brain thinking but I figured it out and excited to go on to She Codes Plus

I am so thrilled with the experience. The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to understand, making learning both enjoyable and accessible.
