The dark theme was tough, but with enough trial and error I was able to understand what was needed to work. I relied on help from the other staff of SheCodes, and they were responsive and helped troubleshoot issues I ran into!

It's been really fun learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Each lesson has bite-sized learning modules, breaking up the heavy load of the information. At the end of each lesson, I feel like a winner. It's an uplifting journey and I look forward to the following lessons.

I've taken a matplotlib course before and didn't really get it, but Matt really broke down every step of plotting with Python, and now I feel confident to face my next plotting challenge in real life.
I found the Add-on course was an excellent next step after the main React workshop. Building a fully functioning dictionary app with two different APIs was the perfect way to practice and solidify my React foundation. It clearly demonstrated the power of React for larger projects, particularly how the use of components simplifies code maintenance and makes the overall application much easier to understand. I now feel more confident in working towards becoming a professional developer.

At first I was struggling a lot with getting into AI, but once I understood the basics I realized how much you can do with it and started enjoying my time coding a project with AI intergration!
It was an amazing experience! The lessons were very well-structured and easy to follow, even when covering more advanced concepts. I came in with zero experience in web development, and within weeks, I was confidently building websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This was a bitter-sweet workshop with lots of new information and challenges. However, they were fun to do and easy to follow. The SheCodes Basics Add-on workshops were more challenging in the best way. I experienced the frustrations of a typo, the confusion of trying to understand my functions and the acquaintance of different forums to figure out why my code is not working or to find a workaround so I can visualize what I had envisioned.

As someone that was apprehensive about using AI and how to utilize it, I have grown in my comfort level. I enjoyed being introduced to it "AI-Add On". Being able to learn more and practice using it in this workshop was great. I feel more comfortable with using it as a tool for my work. I know that this an introduction to the endless possibilities but I look forward to learning more about it.
Very insightful to a whole new set of skills to an ever technology dependent world!! Even if I may not use coding much in my career field, it's good to know and have an advantage of learning earlier, and this course made it easy to do that

This project taught me a lot about building responsive layouts and optimising for SEO. I gained valuable experience in creating a user-friendly design that adapts to all devices while improving visibility on search engines.
I really loved this part of the workshop, last week I did one weeks lesson. This week I've done the other 5 lessons, it's that I did not have much more time the other days, otherwise I would probably have done it faster. I already had some experience with Python, which helped a lot by going through it fast.

THIS WAS A FUN WORKSHOP. I ENJOYED CREATING THE FINAL PROJECT MOSTLY ,AS IT WAS CHALLENGING TOO BUT I LEARNT MY WAY OUT.
It's very thorough and detailed. Plenty of time to submit the homework (even when your laptop dies and the in-laws turn up and take up your time for 4 days). I love that you can go back to re-watch lessons, there's a lot of assistance when and if needed. I was very stressed about doing an online course, but after starting SheCodes the stress is no more.

From learning my first HTML to building intearctive decision-making systems into a landing page, I've come further in my understanding of how interactive web pages work than I thought possible at the outset of this journey. Matt covered so much ground, all the while making me feel like my hand was held through those first nervous bits of code. I always got the feeling that I ultimately dictated the pace of my own learning. No unnecessary pressure, no patronising. Only progress!
I have been wanting to learn how to code for the longest time, but I never really had the time to do so or a place where I can really practise coding. SheCodes is flexible and the workshops and challenges come shprt courses, so I was able to work around my schedule. Also, the challenges are pretty simple and completing them boosts my motivation.

I had an absolute blast with this AI add-on course! It was super enjoyable, yet still challenging, and perfectly reinforced all the core lessons (even going back to the basics). The lesson videos gave me more than enough information to crush the final project. Seriously, I never realized writing code to use an AI generator was this simple, it's way less complex than I ever imagined!
React ROCKS! And Matt does too - this was really easy to follow and I fell in love with React. I like that Matt keeps it simple but mentions how to continue if one is interested - e.g. he mentioned state management for the unit switch and this helped me investigate and make the switch work with a few more clicks. :)
AI is cool and complicated a bit.. enjoyed building this project nonetheless !

SheCodes Plus workshop was definitely challenging, and there were times I didnβt fully understand some of the concepts. But by the end, I was able to build a working weather app on my own, which felt like a big achievement! Even though it wasnβt always easy, Iβm really glad I stuck with it.

Working on this project taught me the value of basic coding. I am proud of what I accomplished from this course for some one who knew nothing about websites and codes.
I spent most of my career working with backend technologies, but SheCodes completely changed my perspective. Their clear, structured, and hands-on approach made JavaScript not only approachable but exciting. I never thought Iβd fall in love with frontend coding, yet thanks to SheCodes, I now enjoy building things in JavaScript just as much as my backend work. It feels like they unlocked a whole new creative side of coding for me.
