Learning React was not easy at first at all...everything felt unfamiliar and complex. But nothing worth learning is easy at the beginning! Step by step, I managed to build a working weather app, handle API calls, and create a polished interface. This course pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I feel proud of what Iβve accomplished. Completing it has been both tough and incredibly rewarding!
I am so grateful when i started SheCodes i was not sure i could ever build something from scratch but now i completed my final project and i am really proud of it.
The lessons was interesting. I was excited to implement all that I was taught this week. Coding is a journey, you need to always practice to perfect it. The funny thing is there are a thousand ways to code, you just need to find the one that works best for you but also fit the industry standard. An engaging way to learn all things front-end web development.
This week was full of challenges and growth for me. Understanding and getting used to adding a grid and different themes took a long time, but Iβm really glad I got there eventually. Iβm excited to keep practicing and solidifying these concepts. It was also very helpful to build parts of this project alongside Mattβs video explanations of his own project!
SheCodes Python Advanced deepened my understanding of Python in a way that felt both logical and empowering. The hands on projects and clear explanations helped me connect the dots and truly enjoy the process of coding. I now feel confident tackling more complex problems and building real world solutions.
This was the toughest 8 week learning programme, where I learnt about Bootstrap and Hosting, which was a bit challenging, but what matters is I did not give up and I pushed to the end! Thank you SheCodes !!

Completing the SheCodes Basics Add-on workshop has been such a valuable step in my coding journey. I really enjoyed applying my skills in new ways and seeing how much progress Iβve made. This experience has boosted my confidence and motivation to keep advancing in tech!
Challenging! The walk-through videos were definitely needed in order for me to complete this course and I had help from Slack too! I would need to practice React coding more to feel confident in it but it is a really great introduction and shows you the capabilities of this form of coding.

I never thought in a million years I would actually be making a weather app! It definitley isn't easy but slowly but surely I am getting it.
The SheCodes React course was an intense and incredibly rewarding experience. It truly stretched my mental boundaries and pushed me to think like a developer. Building a fully functional dictionary app from scratch, complete with API integrations for both definitions and images, felt like a monumental task at first. But the step-by-step guidance and hands-on projects gave me the tools and confidence to bring it to life. In this workshop, I have learnt how to code using python and how to add some AI features in it.
When I started this workshop I had no knowledge of coding but that was not a problem during the course of my journey because everything was so easy to understand. I even found myself enjoying the workshop especially when getting a breakthrough after being stuck. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start out in tech. The workshop brings a lot of practice and good knowledge of coding foundations. Matt is very clear and his methodology help advancing. The slack channels are very useful to find information.
As the lessons get tougher, there are still the thorough explanations. I like that there are sometimes a few different ways to write the code for the same outcome. It makes you explore more.
This Plus Add-on course was so much fun and just the right amount of challenging! What I really appreciate is how the course focuses on the concepts and making sure you understand the "why" behind the code's functionality (or lack thereof), rather than just making a beautiful webpage. The lessons were super easy to track and enjoyable. Another successful course- I learned a ton!
Joining SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I started because I've always been curious about coding and wanted to challenge myself to learn something new and valuable. From the first lesson, I felt inspired, supported, and excited to keep going. SheCodes has not only taught me coding but has also given me confidence and joy in the process.
I had a nice time getting into the basics of coding. I had previously done like a one week coding class, but this gave me a bit more insight. I like the build-up of the lessons, and the challenges. It's a good way to put the things you learn into practice. I would be interested in doing a bit more of a deep dive into this and add on to my skillset. Even if you are completely new to coding, and never tried it before, I definitely think this class is a good place to start.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus, Plus AI, and Plus Add-On workshops. Across these modules I went from writing basic scripts to shipping real, user interface tools. In SheCodes Plus, I built a fully interactive weather app with forecast data and learned modern ES6 patterns, API integration, and Git/GitHub workflows. In SheCodes Plus AI, I learned practical prompt design and integrated an AI API to build my Corporate AI Translator, focusing on clean UX, loading states, and accessibility. In SheCodes Plus Add-On, I developed a World Clock with live time zones (the most challenging one so far) using timezone libraries and interval updates for real time accuracy. What I valued most: Hands-on projects, clear instructor guidance, and feedback from the SheCodes community. Iβm leaving with stronger JavaScript fundamentals, confidence working with APIs, and a portfolio Iβm proud to share. Thank you, SheCodes!

What a journey it has been. It has been the longest, best 8 weeks. It has been such a rewarding experience for me. I had little to no confidence in my coding abilities, but sheCodes gave me a clear path to follow. The lessons were practical, easy to follow. I never imagined myself building anything with my skills, but the projects and challenges really pushed me to apply what I was learning, and I am really proud of my progress in coding thus far.
Completing SheCodes Plus has been a transformative experience for me. The workshop strengthened my coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The lessons were well-structured and easy to understand, making it possible to grasp even complex concepts with clarity.

This is very informational and good, but some of the processes are outdated, and it is difficult to figure it out on your own. The foundations are similar, but github looks different, downloading github desktop and setting up netlify are different processes than explained in the videos, and so it made making progress throughout the weeks difficult and frustrating
This journey has been both fun and challenging, and somewhere along the way, I realized how deeply I enjoy designing and styling. Itβs become clear that this is where my creative energy truly belongs. Iβm now moving forward with a dedicated UI/UX Design course - and I couldnβt be more grateful to the SheCodes team for sparking this passion. β€οΈ
This course was challenging but I truly learned a lot! Moments.js is a game changer in regards to dates and times. It helped to ease the amount of coding (a little bit!). Overall great course and my world clock project is very cool.
I can't express how amazing this workshop was, I was quite nervous at first because I am a total beginner but Matt explains every step so well that not understanding is quite impossible haha, I can't wait for the next workshops.

Such an incredible experience! Through this program, I built my very first interactive web application using artificial intelligence β something I never imagined I could do before. The lessons gave me a solid foundation on what AI is, how it works and I gained practical skills like writing prompts and giving clear instructions to AI tools such as ChatGPT. I also learned how to integrate an AI API into my code and even created an interactive text generator powered by AI. On top of that, I sharpened my web development skills by discovering how to integrate CSS directly into JavaScript. This program didnβt just teach me concepts β it gave me the confidence to bring them to life in a real project. I now feel more prepared to continue exploring AI and web development and Iβm excited about the opportunities ahead

Coming from a none tech background, she codes plus has been a very educational with hands on training for my tech transition journey. I'd recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn coding. The way the lessons are structured makes learning easy and fun, and even someone my age, (62), can get their head around the concepts and rules with the easy-to-follow lessons.

SheCodes Plus was such a fun challenge! After finishing Basics and the Add-on, I was ready to really test myself, and Plus didnβt disappoint. The lessons were harder, but in a way that made you feel like you were actually building real skills. The community was still there to help when I got stuck, which made the whole experience way less intimidating.
