I just completed the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I can't believe how much fun I had learning to code for the first time! Matt Delac is an amazing instructor who explains concepts in a way that's easy to understand and engaging, which made the experience even more enjoyable. JavaScript was definitely a challenge for me, but with perseverance and support, I was able to work through the challenges and get to a point of understanding it properly, at least, so far. Now I feel even more inspired and ready to continue my coding journey! SheCodes has been such a fantastic starting point—I highly recommend it to anyone curious about learning to code and of course wanting to begin a career in tech.

Reviewing the basics skills and incrementally adding new techniques has really helped to cement these concepts into my brain. I am enjoying this process and I am excited to learn more.

The She Codes Responsive Add-On course was a great way to consolide my skills in building a responsive website. Attending the SheCodes Plus Add-On workshop was an amazing experience! I learned so much about Moment.js and how to use it in real-world applications. The React workshop was undoubtedly the most challenging module I’ve tackled, but it was also one of the most rewarding. I learned so much, and having access to the videos allowed me to revisit the material and solidify my understanding. First time learning Python and thanks to Matt it was very easy to follow along! The resources are good for beginners.

Through it all, I reminded myself why I started. I took it one day at a time, stayed consistent, and refuse to let failure define me. One of the toughest workshops ever.

This was wonderful. The team really believed in me and if felt like I was walking the entire journey with Matt, fellow learners and the greater team. He's a wonderful teacher. I would totally recommend.

🚀 Why I started: I love learning, especially when I can flexibly integrate course content into my everyday life. Programming - especially frontend and web design - has always fascinated me and I wanted to finally delve deeper into the subject. 🌟 💡 What I learned: From HTML Input Types to Select Elements to moment.js and moment timezone - this course not only showed me new tools, but also helped me to significantly deepen my JavaScript knowledge. 💪 The biggest challenge? JavaScript is super fun ... as long as the code works. 😅 But when it doesn't, it can be really challenging. I've learned to stay patient and systematically look for solutions - and that sense of achievement when everything works is priceless. 🙌 ✨ My highlight: My favorite part of every project is when the basic structure is in place and everything works - then I can really let off steam in CSS styling. Still a media designer through and through. 🎨💻

Matt again surprised me with his teaching method. Super thoughtful and thorough all throughout the course. He explained the context well and repeat the logic many times, understanding where it can get tricky and emphasize how important the coding logic should be implied in certain ways. Never could I before this course think of myself make such a comprehensive app from the ground, but with Matt and Shecodes Team, we made it. Thank you so much!

I found it hard in the first week before completing my first homework but after that it became fun and easier. Even just with the Basics you learn a lot because it is explained in a very simple and in an easy to grasp way.

I'm surprised at how much I learned in just 8 weeks and how quickly it came to an end. I was initially worried about completing challenges and homework on time in addition to my current commitments but the coursework was well organized and very manageable.

Responsive was where coding truly became fun for me. While it was challenging, I really enjoyed the course. This was the point where everything from the previous courses started to click, and although I know I still have a long way to go, this course made coding genuinely exciting and left me eager to see how far I can take these skills.
