When I was in high school, my favourite subject was Life Orientation. As a young girl, I struggled with confidence. Having one of the best L.O. teachers made not only this subject, but high school itself, a happier place. I loved that we could discuss real-life issues, not just theory. It was a space where I felt safe and could truly be myself.
